This question particularly applies to BalNY. I walked out of there on the phone, and it wasn't till later that I realized my baby didn't come in a box. Should it have?!

Hopefully this isn't a dumb question.

The company that makes the boxes went on strike a while back so bags werent being shipped w/boxes... but last I heard the boxes were back in :confused1: - i heard this about 1-2 weeks ago.

When you buy from BalNY in person, they usually don't give you a box unless you specifically ask for one :yes:

No, I didn´t get any boxes to my bags I bought back in -05. I bought them at Holly Golightly (the only store carrying bbags in Denmark to my knowledge) and the only bag I got a box to was my black bbag clutch.....I don´t think it´s such a big deal anyway......great storage box but any box will do IMO,

when i bought my bbag in harrods, london i was expecting ti to come with a box, esp as it was the first one i had bought in a store. but apparently when i asked why it didn't harrods said that they, and selfridges apparently, don't keep the boxes and they throw them away when they arrive???? I'm not 100% sure this is true but the guy working there had worked at the balenciaga counter for ages so i trust him?

he said ti was because noone wanted the boxes anyway and they where a waste of storage space

My new balenciaga bag was delivered today to my friend, however apparently there is no box, just a dust-bag ... Is this normal? i seem to remember a lot of photos on this forum with new bags that arrived in big balenciaga boxes,
