Do all Bbags come in boxes? Did yours?

I don't know... Maybe retailers don't want them because they cost extra or add shipping costs? Hm..

Or when someone ship the bag it adds extra weight..? And they rather keep that money...?

Once, i bought a brand new chloé clutch from a reputable store and they did'nt include anything but the clutch itself, but others have recieved both a box and a dustbag for the same clutch .

But i've seen pictures here on tpf on bags that did come in boxes

when i bought a bag from neiman marcus it came only in a dustbag. when i bought from bal ny or bal lait came in a big white balenciaga box.

I got mine from Bal NYC ... maybe its a recent change?

that's sad ... you are probably right, but it would have been nice to get it in a box after paying so much

If you buy from BalNY (not sure about other places), you can request a box. They have them again. There was a period of time when they were out of boxes. When I buy from NM, i've never gotten a box.

btw... the 3 boxes I have are empty in my closet! I hear from out tPF experts it's a bad idea to store them in the actual box. The leather needs to breathe.

Yes, even if you dont end up using it there is something magical about opening something in a big gorgeous box ... ah well. maybe we can request next time!

My Black Day that I just rec'd today from Aloha Rag only came with a dustbag but the Argent First I rec'd a couple of weeks ago from them came with a box.
