Disney makes me feel young :)

As for Disney shows, I like Hannah Montana, Sonny with a Chance, The Wizards of Waverly Place and sometimes Cory in the House (although I find Sophie to be irritating. Newt is awesome).

i was actually watching snow white last night on abc family lol. it brought back so many good memories. i LOVED the fox and the hound. i need to buy it again since the VHS tape of it broke years ago.

I love the old Disney classics! My favs include:

-Beauty and the Beast (I have the entire soundtrack memorized by heart!!!)
-Aladdin (I still think Aladdin is the cutest Disney guy ever!)
-Lady and the Tramp
-The Little Mermaid
-Pocahontas
-Mulan
-Cinderella
-Tarzan
-Bambi
-The Lion King

Sleeping Beauty was the first movie I saw in a theatre when I was a little girl. During the "Pink! Blue!" argument, I sided with Pink.

Now that I've seen the movie again, I choose Blue.

At some point during the movie, I had to leave the theatre for some reason. (I'm pretty sure it was for the bathroom). I remember my dad reminding me to hold on to my ticket stub so I could get back in. I remember practically guarding that thing with my life until I was back in the theatre and watching the movie again.

"Disney makes me feel young  "

Me, frickin, too!!!!

As a little girl, I loved Beauty and the Beast, etc.

Truth, sincerity, morals, ethics always tromped all over greed corruption.

In the B and the B, beast was a spoiled brat prince.
He learned humbleness when he met Beauty.

In this horrific world of layoffs, etc, why in the world would we want to watch TV news after work?

Nope. We wanna watch "truth and hard work wins."

Disney knows all about that, so I'm still lovin songs from B and the Beast.

Thank you Angela Landsbury (teapot voiceover) and thank you abRocks!

My favourites are Snow White, Alice in Wonderland (the old cartoon), and the Little Mermaid. But I will sit and watch any Disney film, I really love the songs from the Jungle book, and Aristocats. Also like Lady and the Tramp.

The lyrics from Bare Necessities (Jungle Book) my favourite of all songs! All together now!

Look for the bare necessities
The simple bare necessities
Forget about your worries and your strife
I mean the bare necessities
Old Mother Nature's recipes
That brings the bare necessities of life

Wherever I wander, wherever I roam
I couldn't be fonder of my big home
The bees are buzzin' in the tree
To make some honey just for me
When you look under the rocks and plants
And take a glance at the fancy ants
Then maybe try a few

The bare necessities of life will come to you
They'll come to you!

Look for the bare necessities
The simple bare necessities
Forget about your worries and your strife
I mean the bare necessities
That's why a bear can rest at ease
With just the bare necessities of life

Now when you pick a pawpaw
Or a prickly pear
And you prick a raw paw
Next time beware
Don't pick the prickly pear by the paw
When you pick a pear
Try to use the claw
But you don't need to use the claw
When you pick a pear of the big pawpaw
Have I given you a clue ?

The bare necessities of life will come to you
They'll come to you!

So just try and relax, yeah cool it
Fall apart in my backyard
'Cause let me tell you something little britches
If you act like that bee acts, uh uh
You're working too hard

And don't spend your time lookin' around
For something you want that can't be found
When you find out you can live without it
And go along not thinkin' about it
I'll tell you something true

The bare necessities of life will come to you

lily25, I love The Bare Necessities! I also love I Wanna be Like You:

Now I'm the king of the swingers
Oh, the jungle VIP
I've reached the top and had to stop
And that's what botherin' me
I wanna be a man, mancub
And stroll right into town
And be just like the other men
I'm tired of monkeyin' around!

Oh, oobee doo
I wanna be like you
I wanna walk like you
Talk like you, too
You'll see it's true
An ape like me
Can learn to be humen too

( Gee, cousin Louie
You're doin' real good

Now here's your part of the deal, cuz
Lay the secret on me of man's red fire

But I don't know how to make fire )

Now don't try to kid me, mancub
I made a deal with you
What I desire is man's red fire
To make my dream come true
Give me the secret, mancub
Clue me what to do
Give me the power of man's red flower
So I can be like you

You!
I wanna be like you
I wanna talk like you
Walk like you, too
You'll see it's true
Someone like me
Can learn to be
Like someone like me
Can learn to be
Like someone like you
Can learn to be
Like someone like me!

I am *obsessed* with anything Disney. It just takes me back to my childhood.
My favorite are definitely Snow White and Mary Poppins. But there is just too many to really narrow down.

I actually rewatched some of the Disney movies that impressed me in the past when I was a kid, and I turned out to be unimpressed with The Lion King, Cinderella, The Fox and the Hound, plus Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. I didn't know what I was thinking, but then again, when you're a kid, your inexperience makes it so that you have lower standards. I, however, still thought that The Little Mermaid is good nowadays. I have yet to rewatch Beauty and the Beast among others.
I would say back then, Disney had the most memorable soundtrack, but today, Disney Pixar is overall a lot better, and it's not because of the graphics, but overall storyline, character development, dialogue, etc. I LOVE Disney Pixar.
