Discuss Hermesgroupie's Leather Book

I'm hoping someone can give some advise. I have a JPG birkin bag made out Clemence which I have now learned is an extremely soft leather. Anyways the bag does not keep its shape very well. The bottom rounds out. Has anyone also had this issue and have they thought of a fix. I have considered making some form for the bottom to help keep its shape but I do not want to damage the bag in any way and I definitely do not want to add any weight. Any suggestions?

HG? Anyone? have you ever heard of a goatskin type used by Hermes called "jensi"? Does that exist? And if so, how is that different from coromandel and mysore? :shrugs::shrugs::confused1:

Gina, there is some debate as to whether chevre jhansi still is in production. It hasn't been seen regularly in the stores. Here are two threads that may give you some insight on chevre jhansi.
