Is a retired leather available for a special order?

Some are available, not all. That is something I would discuss with your SA or store manager.

I'm hoping someone can give some advise. I have a JPG birkin bag made out Clemence which I have now learned is an extremely soft leather. Anyways the bag does not keep its shape very well. The bottom rounds out. Has anyone also had this issue and have they thought of a fix. I have considered making some form for the bottom to help keep its shape but I do not want to damage the bag in any way and I definitely do not want to add any weight. Any suggestions?

^^^^^^^Another member of TPF uses a cardboard cutout on the bottom to maintain the shape of his Garden Party, which he said sags when full.

Gina, there is some debate as to whether chevre jhansi still is in production. It hasn't been seen regularly in the stores. Here are two threads that may give you some insight on chevre jhansi.

I love Gulliver/Swift, Epsom, Box Calf and EverCalf ... how are these?

Box and Epsom hold their shape the best, Evercalf and Gulliver/Swift are about the same I would say. They hold their shape with the smaller sizes, but are slouchy with the larger bags.

They come in more colors for the small leather items. I have to get back with a comprehensive list.

What about Taurrilion is it a type of leather or just a colour ? I've bought a Green bolide 31cm for my wife but it's still inside the box (her birthday is on Jan 4th 2007).

^^^^It's the type of leather. It translates to bull calf.
