The bottom runs overall large and I cannot wear even the smallest size.
I have now managed to try them on - they are absolutely stunning in real life. Gorgeous colouring. I found the sizing accurate - I’m a uk size 8 (US 4-6) and 38 was fine for me. 40 was slightly loose but not a bad size either. They can be tailored to your height as they are not hemmed. Didn’t get to see the matching jacket as not available.

It looks like that to me too! The coats seem roomy even in size 34 and these trousers seem to be 38-40. I’ve not much experience with Dior RTW but I like the pricing and they have great customer service so you feel valued (unlike some other brands!)

Hello! This might be a dumb question but my SA reached out asking if I want to reserve any items from the Winter 2025 collection. Does this mean that a deposit is required in case I do put a reserve? Is this equivalent essentially to a preorder?
I just put in my pre-order for FW25 and had to pay the entire price upfront.

It wasn’t this way just a few years ago in 2021. In 2021, Dior SAs* were able to bring items in, no obligation. If you liked them, you would pay at the point of purchase/alteration. I eventually got tired of MGC anyway, but this pre-pay practice is honestly turning me off to the brand in general.

@Love Of My Life, my SA was at a flagship, but I agree with you that my friends who shopped at SAks etc., also had no issues. My SA is no longer at Dior, so I haven’t been back since.

One of the reasons to shop Dior in a major department store especially if one has a history.
SA says Dior is one of the more flexible design houses where a pre-pay is not always necessary
but there are exceptions.
Personally don't like shopping this way. I'd much prefer the option to reserve an item & go from there
& usually can guide size & fit with potential alterations, JMO

So interesting! A few weeks ago my SA told me I had to pay upfront for them to get another size from another store, which surprised me. Luckily my SA was able to get it without me paying upfront.

Interesting enough a tPF'er was looking for a Dior dress that according to her was "sold out".
Introduced her to my SA who did a search for her. Dior found the dress in BH brought it to NY
& she lucked out.. So relationships count to a certain degree I guess, but nonetheless, pre-paying
does not appeal to me, JMO
