My store only had the tall version in store but I found the ankles to be baggy. Are the short versions constructed the same way in the shoe part and are just cut with a shorter shaft? I also was hesitant about the stretchy fabric and how durable it may be. I think I would have preferred leather. Oh well not a deal breaker…

Anyways, is your coat back from alterations yet? Can we see pics pls?
The shaft is stretchy leather, if it makes any sense. I have had simular shoes from different brands before and they were all fine.

Thank you so much for replying. The coat is divine. So well worth the wait. The gold buttons are everything from this collection. I agree it has been a unusually warm autumn and I also have not worn my clothes yet - still hanging in their garment bags 😳

So here are some pics of my purchases from the current collection AW24

The leather jacket is actually part of the 30 Montaigne series so not technically a seasonal piece. It is extremely fitted so I had to size up two sizes to 44 from my usual 40 in the other two jackets. The macrocannage set was actually marketed as part of the SS24 collection but was very delayed in delivery. I had inquired about it since February! For anyone wondering, the big logo on the waistband of the skirt is completely hidden by the length of the jacket. I didn’t take the cream tie sweater as I found it to be a little too thin. I also didn’t take the boots as I mentioned earlier I felt that it was a weird fit around the ankles. I also bought a the a knit set and the knit jacket earlier. I wished the matching knit pants fit but they were at least two sizes too small ( you would never guess but there is a good 4-5 inch gap at the waistline that is covered up by the jacket. But gorgeous though. Maybe if I am not too tired I can pull out the knit sweater set tomorrow. My SA also mentioned to not hang certain knits (like cardigans) to preserve the shape but that hanging the knit ‘jackets’ were ok fyi.
