I tried the black boots but they run very lose on my especially at the ankle part and it looks very slouchy instead of tight . Do you have the same problem after it arrived? At first i thought the design is well but the fitting is so so…. I love your Dior riviera items and selection. That dress was totally sold out at our side but the material is much harder than what I imagined from the picture! The white top is gorgeousLove when this thread is active!

I also pre-ordered the matching red jacket but returned it because of the awkward fit/ shoulders.

I bought the short boots and I wonder if you want to give them a try? @880 Welcome back from your Dior hiatus. I love everything you got, especially the navy dress-- you are my tpf style icon 🫶
Some new-ins for the fall:
I know most of you hate the graffiti but this skirt is so cute irl!

I kept going back and forth between these and the Hermès Jaimy ankle boots. The Jaimy's were a bit taller, making my legs look a bit shorter. So I settled on these.

Love this jacket. My SA is trying to locate the matching pants in my size.
If anyone has the matching pants, i would love to know your thoughts on the fit.

Love the cocktail dress on you! It’s very feminine and flattering! My Dior hiatus is over. Yesterday, at DHs MtM appointment, SA picked a classic cocktail dress, size 38, and heels and two denim mini skirts, size 36, that I love. Awaiting alteration on the dress and the right sizes to come in on the other items (All of my things to be delivered on Friday) . DH got a MtM suit which will take 8-10 weeks. If anyone is interested, he is a size 48 in Hermes MtM and RTW, and is ordering a dior 52 (and having it cut down).
The dress and heels and white mini that we purchased (this is a 38 and my SA decided I should take a 36, so we are waiting for those sizes) plus a blue denim mini that I forgot to take a pic of.

The ones that didn’t work (too daytime or not the right fit). My SA had me try on the miss dior denim only to ascertain size 36

The dresses are a 38 bc I have a thicker waist relative to my size. Dior jeans run really large and imo are not as flattering to my rectangular shape as Celine or Chanel jeans. I didn’t see these dresses on the floor.
ETA: DH just decided he didn’t want the pattern above but midnight blue which will make the suit more cocktail and a quasi fashion substitute for formal wear. My SA and I think that’s the right decision lol. (Posted this in dudes in Dior thread)
ETA: @Tasha1 , thanks for your compliment below. I want to say a kind of dressy faille but I was wrong. My SA said navy wool abs silk shantung. The pic doesn’t really show the texture and subtle sheen.
Loved all three of the above, but my chest was falling out of the second one. The first dress was nice, but I don’t really need another day dress that could transition into night. (This whole search for a cocktail dress started when my Chanel SA told DH and me that we both need more cocktail attire, and less separates). She’s my unofficial, unpaid stylist; doesn’t mind when I blow up her phone with pics; and kindly vets our outfits. I simply couldnt get into the third one; I didn’t see the hidden side zip until a few minutes after I decided it looked too heavy (and possibly too hot) for me to bother. Since waistlines are a big issue for me, the three 38s fit but just barely. Not so that I could eat a big lunch. The dress I bought had a little more breathing room.Love the cocktail dress on you! It’s very feminine and flattering!
I have the black cotton one you tried and yes I wear it to work with heels and look Ok with flats too.
I was thinking of the other one with the deep neckline.View attachment 6061539
How did you like the fabric? Maybe a bit too much volume around the waist?
I love this one,
View attachment 6061540
Have you seen it? I wonder if it’s too thick?
Yea def they never produce many pieces I guess … since its luxury and some things go extra fast if for example some celeb here are spotted in media wearing it as well….Thank you so much!
It's still in the 90s where I live, so I haven't had a chance to wear the boots yet. However, they are indeed a bit slouchy in the ankle area. But it's very slight, so it doesn't bother me too much.
My friend searched all over Europe for that dress this summer, but it was sold out everywhere. Maybe they didn't produce many pieces...?
The pleated muni skirts I have tried on but it is very bulky compared to what I am normally used to unfortunately. They look good at sight but not when truly wearing them if you are detailed enough to spot it .Loved all three of the above, but my chest was falling out of the second one. Sizing up to a 40 in any of the three would have been way too big in the chest and shoulders. (While I like the head tailor at Dior Flagship, I’ve had some issues, so I prefer to keep tailoring to a minimum there).
I LOVE the pleated mini skirt looks. I think @LKNN will rock them! I wish I were young enough and slim enough to wear them, but that ship sailed about 20 years agoI think, on me, (I’m about to be 57), I would look like I was channeling school girl Sailor moon. And, DH would laugh his a** off lol
I like the military boots and the last jacket that looks like tweed but is probably from knitwear ? ☺️@880 Welcome back from your Dior hiatus. I love everything you got, especially the navy dress-- you are my tpf style icon 🫶

I love the third pleated skirt I saw it in the older collection or is this also from their permanent Collection ?The jacket is even nicer irl!
Yes, it can definitely be worn by itself as a top.
I plan on styling it several ways.
First, with the matching pants.
Second, with these three Dior pleat skirts:

The jacket is very versatile. I kept it on as a top as I tried on different skirts, pants, and jeans, and it honestly looked great with everything.
hth!
But I felt if in shorter version it’s less pretty . If for shorter boots I prefer the more chunky military style black ankle boots. I love the long boots but it needs to look more slender. Thanks for your suggestion anyhow ☺️I bought the short boots and I wonder if you want to give them a try? Fitting is less of an issue w/ shorter boots IMHO.

They have the trench coat also without the graffiti logo and they are much prettier and also better in its material in my opinion as I like the silk & wool blend more. The cutting is beautiful!Interesting POV.I intensely dislike the branding and am not a fan of recent seasons. But, LOL, I think the trench is marginally better because the belt covers the graffiti, making it more of an abstract pattern. And, more difficult to read. Of course, it only works IMO bc the model is slim enough to be a canvas.
The white skirt is very simple but I like the a line cut and the logo isn’t that huge as on some other items as it only covers the back pocket ! Also quite timeless. I had considered it before but felt it was still a bit pricy for just a denim casual skirt that I’d rather buy a jacket instead . But all nice choices and looking great on you !My Dior hiatus is over. This white long jacket looks very good on the model as she’s tall but in reality the material is very thick and the style seems to add visually a a few kg on my body I felt 😅but I love love the colour !!! 😍I love this coat, but it is attention grabbing and very expensive
View attachment 6036073
Also the white coat is very pretty
View attachment 6036074
Apart from the logo-ed items there are nice classics.
For the coat, pants, skirt and shirt I paid less than a Chanel coat.
