Some of y’all know me from other forums, but I’ve never taken the plunge on Dior RTW (though I’ve wanted a shirt dress since forever). However, for some reason I am in love-LOVE with the new Voyage print this year. I don’t like overwhelming logos, so the book bag, D-Lite, and hat are out. The leather Lady is GORG but not timeless enough for me to spend that much. I did snap up a couple of Mitzahs this weekend, but really want a bigger format of this print cause I really love it. Advice on what I should consider in RTW? The tunics are lovely but probably won’t flatter as I’m very pear-shaped. The tees are really cute, but what is the quality like….for 1650? A skirt? What is your one go-to piece that you get the most mileage out of?
IMO, try everything on in that print that you can. BC some things that you might not have considered could be perfect. I love the classic, black j’adior t shirts that are linen and Cotton. I have them tailored, tapered, and shortened, for a perfect, slightly relaxed fit. The last time I checked, I think they were 950 USD, and I wear them all the time. But, I’m not crazy about the white t shirts ( they look like used tissue in me) or the other, more embellished ones that make me look preppy and boxy, even when tailored. I also am fond of the short hoodie dresses with elastic waistbands, so long as the CD name isn’t too obnoxious. But, in addition to your shape, sometimes the garment might be too short or too long waisted, or there may be other issues, so nothing beats actual try ons. Have fun exploring, and when you find the perfect thing, you will know immediately.
ETA: if you have issues with your waist like I do, a dropped waist , where the pleats start lower down, is more flattering. It’s one of the cuts that tend to repeat in collection after collection.

So I returned the skirt I bought the other day for a slightly more slimming version. They were way too similar for me to buy both and so I just topped up a little!

I know Dior is fond of coordinating pattern, but is this a handbag or a toiletry bag?
(It looks like the hermes travel cosmetic one). I was shopping the other day, and I saw two of the TDJ dresses on two different people of course, within an hour. (And a few blocks) of each other. It made me pause a bit and think I should either be very picky about what I buy next, or I should go back to warehousing current season stuff I love until the trend has sufficiently cooled. . .

My sa says she heard rtw will be going up too in July.
+1 Starting with Leather goods and then progressing to women’s RTW. Sounds like a big increase

Officially 'Nomad Pouch'. I wouldn't care what it's supposed to be, it looks like a toiletry bag (as does the H).
You have better bags, much better. Would you really want CHRISTIAN DIOR down the side of a bag (that wasn't the Book Tot?. No disrespect to anyone that does/has - talking only to 880 here.

Me too. And the riviera tees are already 1300-1600?!I don't like it, especially as the stock is limited
Yes, I was lucky enough, as it has started today. The choice is very limited
I bought a skirt, and was considering a dress. But the dress is very heavy, I have a night to think, but no overweights.
I asked my SA about a 1600 riviera tee. It is a story behind the price and typical blablabla.
It looks great! Super cute and practical. I hear you about the weight lol
