Love all this @LKNN ! I wanted to ask you, since you got the Hermes leather mini, do you wear the dior leather mini or skort less? I haven’t worn my dior one since. . . The H one seems to fit me better, or maybe it’s just so easy to zip
Also for anyone interested in the map trench, there will be two of them. A techno fabric one for around 3700 USD, and a longer cotton printed one for 9400 USD. Both are medium gray tones on white which won’t work for me; I need more contrast and a bigger scaled print. As per my SA

I collect trench coats, but I prefer higher tonal contrast and a more luxurious fabric. My SA is waiting to get these in, so I told him I would keep an open mind, but I’m not crazy about the stock photos. I’m pretty certain that I don’t want the techno fabric. JMO though
Well I have to say it's not something I can wear every day either. More wearable items in S/S 23 for you?Me too, but now I’m far less inclined to buy dior leather RTW lol. I’m glad that I’m not imagining this and not the only one who feels this way thanks!

Hello! Has anyone tried on or felt the fabric of this MARINIÈRE TWIN-SET? Would love to know more about the fabric feel and its thickness.

Interesting Dior video about how they incorporated stainless steel thread into the fabric for the f/w 2023 collection. I have so many questions about how this wears, how it feels, etc

I tried on a trench from this season, size 38, and it’s a no go (not enough structure and too much material as I’m 5’2)
I had a really lovely shopping experience at my local Dior boutique the other day. My SA (only my second time shopping with her), was so sweet and got me a spinach feta pastry because I told her I was running late due to crazy day at work and I didn’t get to eat lunch. I was looking for something for a work conference so she had set aside some items for me. I have been losing weight and dropped a couple sizes since the last time I was in, so she was surprised that all the items she pulled were now too big. I loved this off the shoulder jacket, and was ready to take it that day, along with a classic Bar jacket. However, she suggested that I wait and come back closer to my conference in case of additional weight loss. I was so surprised because she spent over an hour with me and wasn’t even pushing me to make a purchase! She even suggested that I could exchange the toile dress I bought a month ago (unworn still in the garment bag) for a smaller size. My other concern was what if the jackets sell out? (Hermes shopping mindset LOL) She replied simply, then I’ll just order another one! I was so grateful for her time and consideration that I got this cute Bobby pouch on a chain so she would at least get a little commission for her time. It was just such a refreshing and lovely experience!
Awwwh, she sounds so lovely! And you look great! I have a dior off the shoulder jacket that I adore and wear all the time. With jeans, shorts, matching pants, and contrasting dior skirts. By itself and over tops and t shirts. Well worth the cost IMO. I personally prefer to buy RTW when I am not at the complete bottom of my weight loss journey (mainly bc I tend not to have faith that I will keep the weight off, so that just may be my own quirk) Happy shopping!
