Dionysus super mini bag

I wouldn't say a cardholder fits comfortably along with a phone - but then I don't like to pack my bags. I'm too afraid of it losing its shape. I think it'll fit, but it'll be tight! But if you don't mind the squeeze, it's just too cute to pass up on.

The purse I received had some marks on the velvet (I know velvet is tough) so I asked for a replacement, which is heading my way this Friday. If there's still some imperfections on that one, I may get the blooms.

i know the trend is micro/nano bags right now but i tried this in the pink blooms today and it's TINY!! it's like the fendi micro peekaboo which doesn't fit anything. it's super cute, but not practical at all and looked almost comical on me, like i was carrying a child's play purse, i think for $750 i'd rather use it towards a WOC or mini bag instead.

I agree - I also tried it on. As cute as it is, to me it was really just a glorified phone case. If you want something that will carry phone and some folded bills, this would be perfect. If you are looking to carry a card case and/or keys, this wouldn't be what I suggest.

Seriously considering the Marmont version of the super mini, I wonder if it will fit more than the Dionysus since it's soft leather and less structured.

Well i got my super mini in the mail today.
It is just how i expected it to be.
It does hold my phone 6 (clear minimal profile case), also a card holder and perhaps a few tissues. Probably could squeeze in a lip balm and perhaps a single key OR car fob.
Quite a long drop on me, chain strap wise, especially as I don't do cross body.
I love it. I love the leather, the matte gunmetal hardware, the tiny carefree size! The only bag more carefree than this would be a fanny pack / belt bag lol.

Wanted to report back after my weekend away using the bag. It fit my iPhone 6 (regular size) - just - and then a slim unfolded card case and room card besides the phone. I also popped in a Chapstick.
Loved the long chain drop and found it perfect as a teensy evening bag for my black tie event. Let's face it you are not often called to open and close your bag during such an event.
I also enjoyed using the bag around the resort the next day.
But - during that day when continuously dipping in and out of the bag for my phone and room key around the resort, I found it a hassle with the Chapstick in there. The addition of the Chapstick made it more difficult to align everything, put my phone in quickly after use and close the bag.
Also was a little bit of fiddling getting the press stud in line and closed up - more so than on the other larger Dionysus bag which tends to fall closed perfectly and has the press to release.
Loved the bag and find it fun. But yeah - Having loved the super mini I might have to double dip and consider the square mini also.
The long and winding shopping road lol. I don't regret the purchase.

Thanks so much for reporting back! So helpful to any of us considering this :)

Isnt the 7 the same size as 6?
If you have a slimline case it should fit no problem. Whether you need to carry much besides a phone - well, that's another issue - :) phone and small card case you're done.

^^ yes I felt the same way regarding the rectangular look, also I wanted a very small bag for a specific event. Although the reality is that the square mini does have more room and I like how the chain can be doubled as well. Might be practical if you are planning to use the bag semi regularly, or during the day. I sort of wish I could have both - that would be crazy I guess.
