So I passed by my local store and they had received the super mini. The pink. They don't know if or when they will receive the blue (the SA said they are left quite in the dark about shipments of bags, sounded frustrated by that...). Anyway, I guess it is quite an obvious thing to say but the super mini is, well, SUPER MINI.

I am good with small bags but seriously, I could not fit the Iphone 6. I guess you could without a case, but you would really have to push it in and there wouldn't be space for anything else. On top of the small size, the bottom is folded upwards, as with the bigger versions, meaning there is even less space that it seems. Another thing I didn't like is that the suede flap is a false flap. I thought there would be card slot or something there but nope. All in all, cute but rather useless imo. I much prefer the chain wallet.

I also saw this WOC which I had never seen before. For the price I think it is a better choice than the super mini. But I don't like the gold hw with the blue blooms...

I really hope it's realised in the UK in the blue, it would really expensive to order from Saks with shipping and then the customs & vat on top

It's very small and doesn't fit much. I can fit my iPhone 7, a liptick and DL/credit card and cash (it won't fit a wallet). You may be able to put in one or two keys, but not a big key chain. This is what I normally carry anyways, so it works for me (I'm usually out at night with my husband so I make him carry keys, hehe. Or I just carry the house key as I live in the city and don't drive when I go out at night) But I can see how this won't work for everyone...

I have just ordered this sight unseen. The sales associate said she could put her iPhone 6 inside alongside a card holder and maybe a lipstick... pretty much all I need for a fancy night out lol. I plan to use this for a black tie event I am going to - I will be staying in hotel accommodation accessible via key card. I won't need to drive or take keys anywhere so I'm pretty sure the bag will be suitable.

ETA: I'm a little nervous about the phone fitting, but I have a very minimal low profile case so fingers crossed. The girl who helped me said it was okay.

I know what you mean. The design is classic and lovely. Looking at the dimensions, especially the model pic, it looks like you can fit a phone, lipstick. And maybe a cardholder. The canvas material will also make it difficult to stretch in size.

Have you looked into the WOC? It's almost double the price but it has the same charm you love and is much more functional (the bigger size and card slots). Personally, the price is one of the important factor in my decision. But because so, I always consider the functionality, longevity and likeliness I'll take it out to play. If you can see yourself wearing it frequently and able to pair it with many outfits then go for it! If not, it might be worthwhile to save up for the one your heart truly desires :tup:
