Difference in quality between MIF and MIU?

I can see the difference- it is subtle but I would prefer the mif on this item

Even the canvas looks better on one made in france. When i was getting a bag, they had one made in france and one made in us and the canvases totally looked different. The one made in france was much darker and had great texture while the us one was more brownish and rubbery feeling.

I would keep the MIF. Canvas, stitching, and stamp look marginally better.
