No she is a long speedy just shorter, just comes with 2 handles but I love her! I will take pics of the 2together, long and minis when I get my long one from Aster Alice on Friday.
Well, it turns out that red isn't the only magic Samantha !
The other day it was snowing hard, so I switched out from an open top bag to my Black Sammie (aka bad a$$ Sam)
We were out, and stopped by a car dealership for fun. Alas, they were closed but there was a sign on the door with the addresses & phone #s of two more, so I called the first nearest one.
" Good afternoon, this is Samantha" a cheerful voice answered.
HA ! that sealed it, I decided to head over there.
We found the place and I left DH in the showroom while I went to find Samantha. Nobody seemed to be in the back except one man with his office door open, so I popped in and asked where can I find Samantha. He made a call and told me to meet her down that hall ----->. I thanked him and met up with a brunette who introduced herself and I introduced her to my purse." Samantha meet Samantha" We had a laugh and she walked me back over to DH who had already told a salesman which car I wanted. (I hadn't even glanced around the showroom yet)
FIVE and a half hours later, I have it down to two cars. They are buzzing back and forth making the price until my patience is almost gone. I picked up all the papers and walked away ~ back to the first office I visited, where the nice man was, who just happens to be the Owner/ president.
I set my Sammie on his desk and announced I am tired and want to buy a car, so please just give me your best deal and let me go home. We had a delightful chat and he made me two fabulous deals to choose from.
Again, I thanked him, and went out to confer once more with DH with the New improved numbers

the Sammie! And a nice, nice car! My DD's, 19 & 21 both drive Saturns. They WANTED the Sky... fat chance. They each got a VIEW of the SKY and a VUE to drive. Very safe cars. Also very pleasant dealerships, IMO.

I got my Samantha in Dijon today from Kataphelio (first LP). I love it! The leather, color, studs, it's absolutely gorgeous. I'm just afraid it might be too small, and the strap drop is much smaller than I thought it would be. Weren't you afraid to take it in the snow?

LPs are fine in snow, and the car is warm.
I love the Dijon, too. See post #4 in this thread. Samanthas are amazing,
and really hold much more than it seems they should.
I put one in the TSA screening machine to see how all that hardware looks and she even looks cute on xray !
LOL! I wouldn't think you could take your Samantha in the snow. I was actually just going to post a question to you on the care thread. Do I do anything the the Dijon leather before wearing? I honestly don't think I have ever felt leather so thick and smushy. Maybe the HH Saddle leather, that's the only comparison I can think of.
Also, I was wondering if you could do me a huge favor, and measure your Samantha for me, including the strap drop. The Kataphelio website has the following dimensions: 15" bottom, 15.5"tall, 4.75 wide. The 15.5 tall is what's throwing me off. I only come up with 11". Was there more than one size made in this bag?
Honestly, I can't stop staring at this bag. The only thing that would make this bag absolute perfection for me are longer straps or a shoulder strap. I saw in another thread that you mentioned getting a shoulder strap for it. Is that something that LP makes? Is there somewhere/someone you can refer me to for this? Any help would be much appreciated.

15.5 tall is a typo, your measures are correct. One size, perfect proportions. Strap drop is about 9.5"
I like the satchel straps on this. It takes a little getting used to if you're used to shoulder straps. LP doesn't sell separate or replacement straps. Isabella Fiore Angelina Pick Up lines hobo is a fabulous pyramid studly shoulder bag.
