Diamond tennis bracelets

I just checked my TB, that I've worn for years, 24/7. Your prongs look similar to mine, maybe a bit more pronounced. Fixing/replacing the clasp should be an easy fix. I suggest to everyone who owns a TB to invest in an extra safety clasp (2nd pic) as a backup. This little chain has saved me many times! Also, have a jeweler check, very couple years, the diamond and metal integrity. If your TB is catching on your arm hair...maybe it's too tight a fit?

Thank you for your suggestions. I decided to return the bracelet. I took it to a local jeweler to see if they could easily fix the clasp, and they suggested I replace it. I don't think it's worth keeping a piece of jewelry that isn't a high quality (though the diamonds themselves are). I think I'd always be worried about losing it.

Thank you for your reply and suggestions. I've considered shortening, but am not sure that it will solve the hair problem, which is why I asked, because once that is done, I can't return it. The part replacement I have also considered, but it means giving up a hidden clasp for a lobster one, which I'm not sure I'd like to do. And yes, shortening does free up diamonds, which I had considered, and that is great, I agree. I don't know...trying to figure out if $5K is better spent on something else or if this is worth it to me!

I'm surprised they wouldn't be able to replace the hidden clasp with another one. I agree, lobster clasp would not look good at all. As for the hair problem, I would probably just get my arms waxed, but that's just me. Anything for pretty diamonds.

But seriously, good luck with whatever you choose. :flowers:

All clasps have white gold mixed with nickel for strength.

It's an industry-wide standard.

Thanks! So the bezel set doesn't grab arm hair, but I would wager that your clasp has the nickel in the tongue, right?
No.. The setting for this bracelet was made in Italy. I had to wait quite a while for my jeweler to get it here to put the diamonds in. .I am very sensitive to nickel and this is 18k from Italy....no nickel. I feel so much safer with the bezel set, no prongs to loosen.

I completely understand, I was the same for the first several years but I’ve had my love and JUC for a long time, I’ve given up with the scratches lol

I’ve got a 2.5 carat tennis bracelet and a 1 carat bangle and TBH the bangle is better as it doesn’t go under or over my other bracelets, have you looked at purchasing a bangle and keeping your tennis bracelet as it is ?
I agree with this.....keep the tennis bracelet as is. Add a diamond bangle to your collection.
