Could I pls pls pick your thoughts, I wear Cartier Love bracelets 17, Juc 16. I do have a diamond bangle but its slightly big & overlaps the Loves so I stopped wearing it. I have an old 3ct tennis bracelet 17cm before I got my Cartier and I love the look of it stack with the Loves but it goes under & moves around which drives me nut. I contacted the jeweller I bought my tennis bracelet from to re-craft it to a bangle style so I can wear it with my Loves without the issue of overlapping, going under or moving around. I got a quote of USD 3,400, it'll be full Diamonds top & bottom (I bought my tennis for USD 5,995) My hubby and best friend does NOT agree to have my tennis converted into a bangle:sad: I don't know what should I do?
Have it re-craft to a bangle or leave it as it is:confused1:? Thank you

It’s no fun wearing a jewelry and being bothered by it!

Is 3400 purely re-craft without adding diamonds?

If so, ooooh, is that rather pricey? Of course I’m not experienced however I’m just comparing it with a quote I got from a jeweller to help me make one hard bangle tennis bracelet that’s similar to etincelle but bigger in terms of total carat. Here’s the details for your comparison :

“ estimated quote to make the diamond bangle using 18k gold, 34pcs 0.03ct stone each (2mm) 1.02tcw is S$4,350-$4,550/- incl GST.” . Like etincelle, diamonds only cover half of the bangle.

That’s works out to be super close to your usd price.

May I ask why do they not agree to this idea of conversion?

I would like to be like that one day  at the moment its driving me nuts so I removed it. Thanks for the reply appreciate it.
I completely understand, I was the same for the first several years but I’ve had my love and JUC for a long time, I’ve given up with the scratches lol

I’ve got a 2.5 carat tennis bracelet and a 1 carat bangle and TBH the bangle is better as it doesn’t go under or over my other bracelets, have you looked at purchasing a bangle and keeping your tennis bracelet as it is ?

Do you mind sharing which custom jeweller provided this quote? Seems pretty reasonable pricing.

Mine was stolen last March when we were robbed. But when I had it, I wore it with my Rolex. I have small wrists so when we bought it I had several stones removed, made 2 into diamond studs. I'd have it shortened a bit or change wrists.

For that kind of money I would buy a new diamond bangle and keep the tennis bracelet as it is. You can wear it on your other hand.

Thank you everyone for your input I really do appreciate it  its good to have input of others. The quoted price indeed pricey, I've decided to keep the tennis as it is and my hubby put on my Tiffany Metro diamond bangle last night n he asked me to wear it for 24hrs n see how often does it overlaps. He said I am overthinking these:smile::confused1: So far no overlap yet... but we'll see. Thank you all so much.
Loves 17, Metro 17.

I'm not sure to be honest, I didn't expect it to be that pricey as I already have the diamonds for it. Anyway, I'm just gonna give my diamond bangle one more try. Thank you so much for your input:heart:

Hahaha I'm a 3-4 months new Cartier owner perhaps why I'm still anal:giggle: I do have a diamond bangle from Tiffany although it's same size as my Loves 17cm its slightly big n when I 1st wore it home, saw it overlaps so took it off n shoved in drawer. Thank you for your input, appreciate it.

I love your tennis bracelet, its looks like a honeycomb shape like Chaumet BML  I wear same bracelet sizes as you and my tennis goes under my loves which I worry that it'll scratch it:confused1: does yours do the same vca n tennis being a soft bracelet?
Thank you, many have said that it looks like Chaumet.I would love a bee my love bracelet some day. I had my tennis bracelet sized to match my VCA. I had VCA size it as small as it will go. I wish they could just just a little smaller because they both go under and over my Loves. My Loves are all scratched already so I am not sure if the cause are the other bracelets.

OUCH! My tennis bracelet (I am evaluating it at home) is pulling out arm hairs. It's pretty loose on me. They say "1 finger" for sizing, and I can fit in 3.

Has anyone else had this issue and is it a known issue if the bracelet isn't the right size?

THanks!

Sounds to loose, it should be 1 to 1.5cm from your wrist size so it doesn't hang too low & potentially get snagged.
