Diamond tennis bracelets

What's the minimum and maximum number of cts in your opinion in such a bracelet? The irony is that - as usually happens - some people are proud they bought dupes from Amazon for 14$ they're brash, loud and its owners proudly wear them like diamonds. When my brain is like: ouch, it'd cost a LOT for real like. maybe with lab diamond less but you know where I am going.
Could you recommend me the jeweler and the sweet spot for you? I don't want to have something so visible and 60k$ for a tennis bracelet is too much for me. The "barely there" bracelets are also the "no". Any recommendations?
This also depends a lot on the size of your wrist. Let's assume you need a length of 7 inches. My maximum would be one carat per stone (from then on it gets a bit intrusive), but with a length of 7 inches you would only need about 28 stones, resulting in a total weight of 28 carats.
My personal ideal would be 70 pointers, so you would need about 31 stones for the same length, which would be about 22 carats.
I wear one with 56 pointers and 33 stones with a total weight of 18.60 carats, which can easily be worn in everyday life, which is what I do.

Such a pretty bracelet! Thanks for posting the pic. From my inexperienced eye, I can't see why your jeweler would say the links could break, so if you ever get further details on that comment, please post the details.
I took some more pics of the links. As you can see they’re somewhat fragile. This is the back side of the bracelet. As much as I’d like to make it an everyday bracelet, it didn’t come with me home.

Edit: To answer your previous question it’s 18K white gold.

I have a 5 carat tennis bracelet, but I rarely wear it since my jeweler mentioned that the links are prone to breaking. I would love to wear it as an everyday bracelet, but every time I put it on I worry that I’ll lose it.
Can you change the setting? Reset them into something stronger, like a prong setting. Why would he sell you something that he says is prone to breaking.

He didn’t sell it to me, it was a gift 😊
I’m not sure getting the setting changed will be worth it. I feel like I would be better off just getting a new one. 🤷‍♀️

Thank you for this picture, it gives understanding to why the links are somewhat fragile. And what to be aware of when shopping.

Been wanting a princess cut diamond tennis bracelet to go with my three princess cut diamond rings (2 yellow settings and 1 platinum setting). Found this 6.5 Ct recently. My daughter who appreciates the beauty of jewelry loves how sparkly and beautiful it is.

Tried on a 5ct Costco TB today; heard they are a good value.. not sure I'm loving it with my sweet clover bracelet though

It looks stunning on you and bigger than the 5 carat weight would suggest! I have several pieces from Costco including a 5 carat tennis bracelet identical to yours but in 18k yellow gold. In my experience the quality is fantastic, much better than you would find at most high street jewellers (great cut and VS clarity at a minimum). The price is also unbeatable for the carat weight, at least here in the UK.

Agree with @missie1 on tennis bracelet and diamond issues, but I do like your mix better with a different bracelet in between. To me, the mix is purposefully eclectic. All of yours are gorgeous on their own. Would it upset your DH if you changed the setting? If I want to wear tennis bracelets or riviera necklaces, I borrow from my mom, but I’m not normally a tennis bracelet person. I did just get one that belonged to my MIL. DH isn’t a fan bc in his words it’s dinky lol. Here with a yellow sapphire ring from MIL. I will probably wear it every so often by itself.

ETA: thanks @probat1 . I don’t think my MIL’s is dinky. I think it’s just DH’s way of saying it’s not his favorite bracelet. I do have great memories of the ring bc I helped pick it out.
Wow your ring is gorgeous!
