That's beautiful! I'm taking notes, btw. I'm really liking the spacing between the stones!
Thank you! ❤️What's not to love? It's magnificent!!! Wear it in the best of health!
Hi everyone! I was hoping for some advice on whether I need to remove some links on my new dainty tennis bracelet (2.9 carats) in a size 7 in. My wrist size is about 6.1 in, but my forearms are thicker and taper out quickly so it doesn’t fall too far down my forearm, only moves about 1.5 inches. It also does not have any risk of slipping off my hand. Does the tennis bracelet look too loose? Should I resize it down to a 6.75 in? I want to be able to wear it on its own, but primarily stack it with my VCA pearls of gold bangle (6.69 in or a size 17) and sweet Alhambra bracelet (6.9 in). When stacking the bracelets they are all different lengths so falls nicely when I lift my arm up, but when I drop my arm down they tend to overlap. Do you prefer bracelet stacks to be the same size or varying sizes?
I personally prefer bracelets of the same size. It’s important to me. My love is 16 and it’s a comfortable size and shape for me. So most of my bracelets are approximately the same size and shape, and they make beautiful stacks. Only two bracelets are bigger and can’t be resized so I never use them for stacking and wear them separately.Hi everyone! Hi Keya! That sounds so troubling. I have not heard of this happening before. Claws catching on sweaters - yes, dodgy clasps - yes, but links breaking - no. In fact, a number of posters here talk about wearing their tennis bracelets 24/7 for months on end. Would you mind providing more details of your bracelet, such as type of setting, setting material, age, etc. I am looking at adding a tennis bracelet to my collection, have not heard of fragile links such as yours, so am keen to understand more about what to look for, and what to avoid. Thank you so much.I have a 5 carat tennis bracelet, but I rarely wear it since my jeweler mentioned that the links are prone to breaking. I would love to wear it as an everyday bracelet, but every time I put it on I worry that I’ll lose it.
I don’t know the type of setting, but hopefully a picture can answer some of your questions. If my memory serves me correct it’s set in 14 K white gold. Unfortunately I can’t double check since I don’t keep this piece in my house (since I rarely wear it) and this was the only picture I could find on my phone right now.Hi Keya! Such a pretty bracelet! Thanks for posting the pic. From my inexperienced eye, I can't see why your jeweler would say the links could break, so if you ever get further details on that comment, please post the details.I don’t know the type of setting, but hopefully a picture can answer some of your questions. My sweet spot for tennis bracelets is nothing smaller than .40 pointer stones. My primary two are this size. I have RG one that’s about 20 or 25 pointers and it’s small imo. What's the minimum and maximum number of cts in your opinion in such a bracelet? The irony is that - as usually happens - some people are proud they bought dupes from Amazon for 14$ they're brash, loud and its owners proudly wear them like diamonds. When my brain is like: ouch, it'd cost a LOT for real like. maybe with lab diamond less but you know where I am going.
Could you recommend me the jeweler and the sweet spot for you? I don't want to have something so visible and 60k$ for a tennis bracelet is too much for me. The "barely there" bracelets are also the "no". Any recommendations?
Wow that's huge for tennis bracelets. Out of reach for most. Are they 20-30 carats? My sweet spot for tennis bracelets is nothing smaller than .40 pointer stones. My primary two are this size. I have RG one that’s about 20 or 25 pointers and it’s small imo.
