I had great B-day on Sat. Beside, getting this lovely studs. My lovely DH also got the the cocktail ring that has ruby and diamond on it. I wore the ring on Sat night for dinner than Sun my sister took it from me and still have not return them yet. Urgh!!!! Look like, I will not get it back after Thanksgiving.

very pretty. they look like martini settings by the way they sit in your lobe. is that right? how do you like the threaded posts? I've heard mixed reviews of them (mine are not).

Thanks!

They look like martini setttings, but they are actually 4 prongs basket. I love the martini settings too..

I think majority in this thread responded that they would get the e-ring and get the similuated studs. I would think the e-ring first if I am certain and in love with cut of e-ring, but since I am unsure and hesitant about the cut than I thought it would make more sense to get studs first.

I was suprised with the numbers of people have CZ and monsanite studs. Guess I would not know whether someone studs is real or not when they walk buy or sit across from me. What are the chances of those studs are real? Hmmm....

Thanks!

well, are they shallow cut then? I'm surprised at how they look on your ear if they're not in martini settings. my diamond studs are in tiffany settings, but I have lots of gemstone studs that are in basket settings. they do not set anywhere near as flush to my lobe as yours sit. that's very interesting.

I'm also still wondering what you think of the threaded posts? my mom had her diamond studs re-set into threaded settings (against my advice), & she didn't like them. she rarely wore them because she found the threaded posts to be very uncomfortable. she's recently had them re-set again into settings with non-threaded posts.
