Diamond ring vs Chanel classic flap

Hard choice but I vote the diamond - you could always get one (or more depending on price) skinny diamond eternity band which will look great on its own or stacked. I always thought I wanted a Chanel bag but when I finally got one I realised that I was hardly using it, whereas I wear fine jewellery every day. I guess it boils down to what you think you will get the most pleasure and use out of

Birkin would be the best. The price goes up more than a diamond a very good investment even until 20 years.

^ Based on the title, I would've chosen the diamond ring. But since you'll be getting the ring online, I think the Chanel is the better choice. Plus, since you know you'll get both eventually, you should get the Chanel first. Why pay more for the same bag? The price increases are ridiculous!

Pick the one that you'll get the most use out of. Personally, I wouldn't get a lot of use out of the diamond (unless it's an engagement ring). But I know I'd use my jumbo flap every day, which makes the cost per wear worth it.

Get the Chanel! It's something you've always wanted. Your significant other should take care of the diamond for you.

What's wrong with buying diamonds online? You'd get more for your money compared to brick and mortar stores.

No idea. I think it's the best way to buy a diamond if you want it. Much less markups.

I vote to buy the Chanel pre-loved and then hunt down a fabulous diamond ring at a pawn shop. That way you get get both, but I'm greedy like that

Also plus one on buying diamonds online (if you go that route)! My boyfriend and I picked out an engagement ring at a brick & mortar store here, and found the exact equivalent on bluenile (setting ever so slightly different) for literally half the price. I was shocked that the savings was that dramatic.

I say Chanel cuz the prices go up every half year to year. If you want it get it now and then the diamond ring next year!
