Just wanted to add another bag I want to swing a bat is a Porsche handbag!
Seriously, I've seen these piece of crap imports in Vegas going for thousands.
The leather was stiff, the interior looked like a dungeon, and it was the most impractical bag ever. Imagine yourself paying at the register, opening the bag and the things coming out for the public to see.

I say Porsche stick to cars!
Do you take pictures of that?

I don't like Kipling or LeSportsac or probably Longchamp either because I hate the feel of the nylon! It feels utilitarian and cheap rather than pretty or luxurious or feminine. If I was pitching a tent with it, it'd be great, but for a purse, not interested. I understand the practicality of the nylon, but I still want soft and pretty.

I am still trying to understand the appeal of the Celine Luggage Totes, Philip Lim Pashlis, and Louis Vuitton Speedys. Mostly because they are huge, heavy bags that don't have a shoulder strap, and that makes no sense. Besides, they're kind of ugly.

I do not understand why people buy:

Michael Kors (lazy designs)
Tory Burch
Celine
Anything Alex Wang phillip lim
Prada (cant justify when the quality looks like an MK bag)
ANY celeb designer brand
Fendi (no intriguing designs)
LV cartoon bags (what a waste of bag!)
Saint Laurent (its NOT YSL)
Louboutin (just stick to shoes!)
Balenciaga (cant justify the thin leather bags prone to cracking)
Any gucci (agree with the hoochie gucci comment )
Any top handle bags ( tried it with a speedy... it just sat in my closet forever)

Contrary to other posters I like coach and kate spade. I think they are 2 of the better modern american brands out there. Esp coach since reed krakoffs direction has taken off.

Coach (stopped buying even though the full price boutique does have beautiful bags, the over abundance of outlets everywhere and Factory online sales have completely turned me OFF, in addition to all the cloth signature bags floating around the city for years- ick)

After writing this I felt the need to come back & add that I do love Coach shoes! The leather is comfy (a true strong point for Coach) and I own many loafers and bubble gums by Coach. Their classic products will last forever! It's the new cheap stuff that has turned me OFF 😉

1. michael kors bags, especially the monogram. barf
2. coach monogram
3. hermes...not worth 15k - 100k to me at all
4. gucci monogram
5. multicolored LV bags..the white ones with the colored monograms..automatically looks fake and trashy
6. VERA BRADLEYYY

I don't like Pashlis and Speedys although I have two Speedys one of them is the Speedy B, which is more functional. As for The Celine luggage, I do like it but I'm not fond of it but I have to say that the leather is amazing I truly do not baby it as much as I baby some of my other designer bags

I've been wondering about this for awhile. I've got close friends who are goo-goo ga-ga over a particular bag, and I can't stand it or just don't see what the big deal is about. :shrugs:

My personal dislike is the Birkin....don't shoot me. I just think it looks like luggage. My "I don't see the big deal about it" is the Balenciaga motorcycle bag. It's ok. Just don't see why it's such a big hit. Personally, I don't like bags that have stuff hanging from it.

I'm interested in finding out if you ladies have any hidden dislikes. C'mon and air them out.

Vent...purge...you'll feel lots better.:yahoo:
I will lose my interest in a handbag immediately when I find so many people start carrying it after some celebrities carry the same bag and show up in some street look pictures.

I would not want an LV, they are way too overpriced for their quality and from what I see of the preowned LV bags that are on Ebay, they do not hold up well. It's not that I think they are ugly, I just feel they take advantage of the appeal of their product and overcharge their customers. That is just my opinion though. Although one may not like a handbag, I do not feel it's right to put down people who do like it, we all have different tastes and I have seen posts on here that were frankly downright rude. Judging someone by the type of designer purse they carry is just ridiculous and wrong. Sorry, I just saw a couple posts that to me were offensive, sorry to be a downer!

I do have to say if someone said here, I bought you this LV, I would take it, lol.

The multi-colored LV bags, don't shoot me but they look like they're made for a 13 year old girl (and yes I think they're horrid).
I know some of you may love it and that's ok but I hate them.

edit: And same goes for the other weird things they like to throw on bags (ex. cherries). It just screams fake to me, is it just me?
edit again (i'm sorry, reading some of the thread and adding): The dooney and bourke purses with the ducks all over them. I really just can't get what they were thinking.
