Designer bags turning up at Goodwill

I frequent my Goodwill and I often find terrific stuff, but never a designer bag. Mine's too savvy for that. But I did find a gorgeous tweed Isda suit last year for $18 and a pair of Frye Campus boots for $50. Both looked pretty new; the boots had maybe been worn once. And a lovely J Crew calfskin belt for $1.99.

After hearing about a friend of a TPF member donating her balenciaga, I started frequenting my goodwill stores more often. However, most of the bags I found with good names were fakes. LOTS of fakes...
I did find an auth. Isabella Fiore fabric floral totebag, though...

I found an Authentic Kate Spade bag a few years ago that I paid 3.50 for. I ended up listing it on Ebay and it went for 150.00. That has been my only good find.

I found a fake Prada at the local thrift store just this last weekend. The funny thing is that this thrift store has a merchandise case where they put the "good" bags -- they never have very good stuff -- and this fake Prada wasn't even in it. Haha, it was so obvious to even the thrift store ladies that it was fake!
