I don't know about their sunglasses, but I purchased a bag from Dellamoda.com in 2004 and the Balenciaga was a FAKE! I was naive and did not realize this until I went to Balenciaga in New York over a year later. I tried to get my money back from Dellamoda, the man gave me some story about how he has switched his vendors and insisted all his merchandise NOW is authentic.
I got about half of what I paid for the bag back, but for me Dellamoda was a terrible experience.

I don't know anything about their sunglasses, but they try to pass off fake bags as authentic. I wouldn't want to do business at all with a vendor that that's dishonest like that. If you read back through this thread, you'll find more information about this vendor.

I'm happy to report that the Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses I bought off dellamoda.com are authentic. With the sunglasses came the D&G purse, a pouch, manufacturer's information note, a Certificate of Authenticity and a Certificate of Guarantee. There was an identification number on the right temple and I could even confirm the product's authenticity simply through scrutinising the sunglasses.

My observations:

- Great quality.
- Looks identical to picture of the same pair of sunnies (Dolce & Gabbana 6011B 501/8G) on D&G website
- Following printed on sunglasses:
1. 'Dolce & Gabbana'
2. 'Made in Italy'
3. Model no.
4. Filter category
5. Identification number on right temple
- Diamontes didn't look cheap or tacky
- Even the smell of the D&G purse it came with was exactly like the smell of the purse that came with a pair of Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses I previously bought in a department store.

Despite the seemingly genuine appearance, I wanted to be COMPLETELY sure so I visited four different shops (which all sell designer sunglasses) and they all concluded it was authentic.

I'm not completely sure if all the sunglasses on dellamoda are authentic but by the looks of things, they probably are.

The bags are definitely fakes though..

^^ I can't see how they could be selling fake bags and real sunglasses. They probably get all their fake stuff from the same places. If the bags are fake, the glasses are probably fake too. Even if they look like they are good quality, that doesn't make them real. Sunglasses are easier to fake than bags. I have had dollar store sunglasses that looked good.

Then what DOES make them real?
So basically, everything I said means nothing and you're implying that there is no way of knowing whether they're authentic or not..?

I don't know how to authenticate sunnies. I just can't imagine getting authentic sunnies from a place that sells fake bags.

You just said you know their bags are fake. Why would you even order from a site that sells fake bags and hope to get real sunnies? I am not trying to criticize you. I am just curious why you chose to order from a site that you just said sells fake bags.

Well, I'm pretty sure these sunglasses are real and I've been offered 1 year warranty and everything. I've had countless professionals examine my sunglasses as well as the packaging and documents, particularly after reading your post. They've all confirmed its authenticity and compared it with the exact same pair that was being sold in department stores and optical stores. I just don't understand what more I can do to prove that they are indeed 100% authentic..if that's not enough, what is?

Anyhow, I ordered the sunnies from dellamoda prior to knowing they sell fake bags which explains why I purchased them off there (I should have done a bit more research).

I know for sure that it is much easier to obtain wholesale lots of authentic designer sunglasses than it is handbags as the divisions are completely different within the companies (sunglasses still fall under 'optical', same as buying frames at your optometrist). I was selling Gucci sunglasses in my store for a while when there is no way that I would have been able to sell Gucci handbags. Plus you can get lots from places like Luxurymagazzino which are authentic overstock.
So that might explain why they have authentic sunglasses and fake bags.

I am not sure about there higher end handbags. But I can say that there Coach is 100% authentic. I have bought 2 handbags from them. Also I think it is really great that all there profits go for scholarships. Any child can apply.
I found this out when talking to the owner. I felt great knowing that the 2 handbags I bought are going to a great cause. I will return again.

I'm always suspicious of posts like this, especially from people who have just joined the site. How do we know you're not the owner of the site? I didn't see any info about scholarships on the site. Plus, I find it really hard to believe that "all there (sic) profits go for scholarhips." This is a completely vague statement with no info backing it.
