Dellamoda.com??

TPF may earn a commission from merchant affiliate

Yep, I just checked out the site again and they have Google ads there. So the statement about how all their profits go to imaginary scholarships is completely false. Not only are they generating money from selling fake bags, they are generating income from allowing Google ads on their site!

Total spammer!

Hi, my hubby bought me a Gucci Floral hobo bag from Dellamoda - I was sceptical about the authenticity of the bag and had emailed to the supplier directly - I liaised with Ms Maria and she assured me that they sell genuine goods. She even recommended that I bring the bag to Gucci to get it authenticate it.

Let me reiterate that from personal experience Dellamoda (both online and thru eBay) sells fakes

Please do not get burned the way I did!

hi -
I'm nt sure if this is true, but my hubby bought a Gucci Floral Hobo Bag for me last year from Dellamoda. I got sceptical about the authenticity of the bag and sent to a 2nd hand branded shop to get it assessed. The lady boss offer a good price for the bag. Feeling not satisfied, I wrote to Dellamoda and was responded by a Ms Maria. She assured me of the bag credibility and even challenge that I go to Gucci store to have it authenticate. So far I haven't had the time but will do so one of these days to ensure that my hubby had spent wisely for this bag.

The Gucci store don´t authenticate.

Please for a start - post pic of your bag and clear and close pic of the gucci made in italy tag and the serial number in this thread http://forum.purseblog.com/gucci/authenticate-this-gucci-397030.html

^^ I can't see how they could be selling fake bags and real sunglasses. They probably get all their fake stuff from the same places. If the bags are fake, the glasses are probably fake too. Even if they look like they are good quality, that doesn't make them real. Sunglasses are easier to fake than bags. I have had dollar store sunglasses that looked good.

I would not say if the website sells fake or not. One time I was trying to sell my bag through ebay and all people here were telling my bag was fake. I was very skeptical after all about you guys authenticating. Nowadays, I buy whatever I want to buy, and tell myself if the bag is authentic or not.

I just saw your answer in the other thread, and what you wrote was not true about authentication.

And I don´t see you ever have asked about authentication on any bag :confused1:

What do you mean by " not true about authentication." Does that mean that you are 100% sure how to authenticate? I heard authenticating cannot be simply determined unless it is carefully inspected or made in China. There are a lot of people who are selling authentic handbags through ebay. I am not here to defend ebay or any specific websites because I know there are people who are selling fake handbags. However, there are people who want to get rid of their authentic handbags through internet.including me.

I did not ask authenticating my handbag. I was trying to sell my handbag through ebay. I bought my handbag in Japan and was authentic. And people here were saying my handbag was fake. They simply said my handbag was "fake". That is it. You just simply do not want to say " Sorry, but we have never said fake or not unless we are for sure. Sorry for that matter." I believe there are people who experienced like me. I wonder about your reaction if my exactly same handbag is listed in FORZIERI, ELUXURY, NET-A-PORTER, ZAPPOS, NORDSTROM, SHOPBOP, BLUEFLY, etc which are listed in this website. I know you are not affiliated with any above websites because none of you guys here are not a sales persons of above websites. Right, one of true authenticators, who never ignores others?

I think queen.asli means that you "authenticated" a gucci bag in another thread because the photos also showed care cards, authentic. certificates, etc.

Those items are easier to counterfeit than the bags are.

I also am confused and don't understand the rest of your post.

Quoting nordmary: Nowadays, I buy whatever I want to buy, and tell myself if the bag is authentic or not.

Can you explain how you do this?

I bought a fake Prada from Dellamoda in Jan 2008. Fortunately I found tPF in time to have it authenticated, return it and get my money back, less a 10% restocking fee. And, of course, Ms. Maria, who works for Dellamoda, is going to tell you that the bags are authentic. Duh!

Years ago, also before I knew better, I bought a fake Gucci from another "moda" company. I don't know why these companies all choose to have "moda" as part of their name, but from what I can tell, they all sell fake bags. I would stay away from any "moda" seller.

Just my 2 cents, after having been scammed twice by two different "moda"s.
