Date Code & "Made In" Questions

Hi everyone, just purchased a Monogram Eclipse Keepall 45, where would I find the date code? There was a sticker in the wallet with a barcode and date code of 2019, but where would I find it on the bag?

Hello, sorry if this question has been asked before. Looking at purchasing a preloved "Onthego MM Tote" and looking for some clarification. Can someone please explain the three different styles of heat stamps. I have done research into the date codes and curious.. if a bag is made in France, based off of date code, will it always say made in France? Same with made in Italy? Why is it on some but not on others?

The top pic is made in US. The second is made in France and third in Italy. If it doesn't have the made in stamp, it's made in the US.
Thank you very much for the help! The top one, what if it has a date code that correlates to Italy, but also has a tag on the 'Made in U.S.A of imported materials" is that a common thing for LV bags? Sorry for the double question, thank you for taking the time to answer. lv2.jpg

I'm not sure if it's common. If it says made in US, then it's made in US. Date codes are not always correct when it comes to where the bag was made. Are you trying to figure out if the bag is authentic?

If it has the made in USA of imported materials in was made in the USA and should not have a stamp that says made in Italy or France… I don’t think Italy and USA share factory codes. Anytime you buy preloved I would get it authenticated .

As the others have said, if it's made in France, Italy, Spain etc, it will say so on the leather patch. If it's made in the US, it will have the "hidden" tag that says "made in the USA of imported materias". I'm not sure why a bag would have an Italian date code and also a made in US tag, but it's worth noting that LV did change date codes from time to time, and that the guides available online are not always reliable and/or up to date. Now they don't use date codes at all. Since the "imported materials" tag means that the bag was assembled in the US from materials constructed elsewhere, I guess it's possible that they were manufactured in Italy, but somehow I think that seems unlikely. Just make sure to have anything you buy pre-loved authenticated!

It looks like you've gotten your answer (this forum is so fabulous!) but I am curious for my own edification - what is the date code for the Onthego tote that was made in the US?
