Hello. The letters tell you where the bag was made, the numbers tell you when. The bag you are asking about was made in Spain during the 4th week of 2013. Aube is a purple color, but other than the tag, I do not know of anything that would tell you the color inside the bag. HTH

Yes thanks Stacey31, since Aube was seasonal (as it is no longer available on LV website so I assume it is) I thought if the date code shows it was made in Jan 2013 someone here might be able to match it up with a colour

You can't match datecodes to colours: there will be other Empreinte colours which have identical datecodes. Just as there will be monogram items with the same datecode as damier items. Many vernis colours can have identical datecodes.

Datecodes do nothing more than denote time and place of manufacture.

The model number, however, will allow you to determine the colour of any given item.
