Umm, one word comes quickly to mind .....JEALOUS!
I love the whimsy and the edginess.
I was interested in the collection for the same reason. It is very edgy.
Very strange. My store store did not receive any either. I was interested in at least one.
.I did the same thing. My cousins convinced me so we could stay in touch, I lasted maybe 6 months at the most. I hated it.
I wasn’t really into the collection at first but I was just like ok not for me, I wouldn’t go bash it for not being my style, what am I 12? [emoji23] Then the more I looked the more I loved it! I adore that it’s not your typical cutesy, and the typefaces used have a sort of metal rock edge to them, particularly on the clothing pieces.
I’ve seen the Dooney Disney stuff and I think they’re great! But the Coach line is different and unique, it’s fun. I watched a video coach put up on YouTube for the collection and it was some kids (kinda looked like late teenagers [emoji23]) running around getting chased through a city forest by the fairytale “bad guys.” It was a little edgy and whimsical and captured the vibe of the collection.
I’ve ignored Coach for a bunch of years but I love what they’re doing now. Coach, “you’re doing amazing sweetie!” Lol

I wasn't interested in this collection at all. I loved the colors and thought the designs were cute but not for me. I knew I was not buying anything. I'm not into patches and "stuff" on my bags/apparel. Never say never. I walked away with the black patches Rogue and waiting for the spooky eyes card case and the ruby duffle arrive!
As you said just because it's not your style doesn't mean you have to bash it.
[emoji23] I love it! As people are posting their reveals we are seeing all the little details not captured in the pics on the website. There was so much thought put into the pieces.
Guarantee if some of the FB commenters saw the collection in person they’d like it a lot more. I know that’s true for me for almost all Coach items. I usually write something off and then I see more detailed pics here on tpf and then suddenly I NEED the item hahaha

At first, when my SA told me about the collection, I was on the bench about it. Even after seeing the whole collection, a lot of it is hit or miss for me... that being said, I'm sooo excited to get the things that I ordered! I love love love the poison apple so I ordered both fobs and the zippy wallet *_*
I'm disappointed to see all the hate on facebook and elsewhere.. I strongly believe that if one has nothing nice to say, then nothing should be said at all. Nobody is forcing people to buy the bags. don't hate, move on~

I was the same!! Was confident my wallet was safe from this collection... then I saw it in person and I surrendered
I agree the details are what sold me! I like an edgy vibe as well. I loved the poison apple charm which was originally all I intended on ordering.
I will say I don't think coach did itself any favors with the campaign photography for the collection. The photos are all white glared and washed out. Definitely better in person and the photos don't capture the whimsy of the little details like the story patch and the spooky eyes on the creed the back of the charms having the matching print etc...
