Seriously, so many girls in Los Angeles (or the entire California) look hotter than Dakota. If it weren't for her lineage, she'd have no crack in Hollywood.

I watched 50 Shades of Grey one unfortunate night on TV. Come on, where is her sex appeal? She's very "basic" looking. And yes, all the makeup and evening gowns, and movie set lighting can make ANYONE look great. She's really kind of plain and she really doesn't have a whole lot of personal charm either. Again, very ordinary. People are trying to make her into a superstar, but she's really not.

That movie has to be the most awful thing I was forced to sit through. I agree she has no sex appeal....actually neither one of them have sex appeal and there was no chemistry between the leads. The script and cheesy lines sent me over the top.

I agree. I wasn't really impressed with either of the main actors and didn't think they had good chemistry. I watch the movies once they hit the tv channels on a day I'm bored. I read the books so I just like to compare. Honestly although I liked the books better, I didn't think they were that great either. I just finished them because I wanted to know how it ended lol. Once I start something I need closure.

I think this is probably true, also because it is not like she has an outstanding cannot-be-ignored talent. At the same time, nepotism is a way for either unconventional or plain looking girls making it in Hollywood (cf. Drew Barrymore, Angelica Houston, Maggie Gyllenhaal...), so maybe not such a bad thing. Hopefully things are changing for the future.

Lol. I used to love them. I gave up on HTGAWM once Dimples died (can't remember his character's name). Scandal I hung in there lol.

I prefer Greys Anatomy to either of those two shows but I'm not hooked on Grey's either.

Jamie Dornan (the male lead in the Fifty Shades movies ) is much more impressive in "The Fall" imo...it's a psychological thriller/crime drama television series (British-Irish) and I highly recommend checking it out. Be aware that it has mature content (stalking, murders, serial killer).

Dakota is very polished when made up and dressed. Here are a few very good photos of her. Without all these bells and whistles, she's very plain looking and can easily blend into a crowd. Her forehead is too high and bangs look really good her her.
