The new hardware isn't that bad at all. It's suppose to be more durable than the older one.

I am not sure about durability..I think it's cheaoer for LV to produce..old hardware won't get tarnish because it's shiny metal.

I´ll get a damier pap´in 2 months, if anyone knows if it´s still possible to get old hardware let us know !!!
I´ll buy it in Paris and I´ll ask them to look if they have old ones......
Don´t know yet to which shop to go......flagship Champs Elysées, St Germain, or else ??? What do you think ?

i don't know about other damier items but the lining of belem pm has been changed from orange to red. if you are asking about the bleeding problem, i didn't have the bleeding problem and i have the orange lining in my belem pm.

I was advised by the SA that the new ones won't have the breakage like the older ones. But I don't have the older one ---so someone confirm this.

^^ Thats news to me. I had my papillion 30 for a while now and no problems. Sorry, cant confirm the breakage but would like to know also.
