:confused1: Not sure why my post was deleted, as I was just responding to Jackie's post and thought it rude not to. I'm tired of being singled out just for having an individual opinion.

Peace. :peace:

I read what you said and appreciated it so your efforts were not totally wasted.

Anyway, you are not alone. I have also been axed, presumably because I was responding to something said by Jackie that has now been deleted, making my stand alone comments appear very very very mysterious.

Dark Gray Love Me - My bag was beautiful upon receipt but the drawstrings began to split very quickly. The sealant loosened and the bag lost its appeal to me at that point. Although the leather looked fine initially, it began to look really dry so I constantly found the need to moisturize, moisturize, moisturize!

Red Love Me mini - I actually ordered a wine LMM but received a Fiamma Red LMM. I actually didn't mind because I preferred the red to the wine so I didn't have any issue with the mix-up. Moreover, mailing the bag back to BE would have been too much of a hassle. Like others have posted, the glossy leathers don't wear particularly well so the corners began to exhibit wear very quickly and the leather around the drawstring started to wear also.

Hold Me chocolate crash - This bag exhibits wear around the corners also.

Pewter Kiss me - The wristlet strap falls off all the time. For some strange reason, its been difficult to properly attach to the bag. One of the industrial arts teachers at my mother's school also attempted to fix the strap to no avail. Its difficult to describe but the little circle that attaches to the wristlet won't close. Nevertheless, my mother still likes the bag and wants to keep it.

Tash- You are not being singled out. You just happen to always be where the drama is.:shrugs: Ha. Just kidding... Jenova is correct in stating that it would have been ridiculous to leave a response when the original post was deleted. Hope that makes sense. Peace to you too!:peace:

chica1,

Wow, I would be very upset if I had all of these problems with my bags, too -- at least the drawstrings issue has ben addressed, from what I understand.

Since the Kiss Me is smaller, could you send it back to BE for repair/replacement of the little ring? While that would mean not having the KM for a bit, I imagine that it would be relatively easy to remedy.

HTH! I just wanted you to know that I commiserate. :hugs:

Ladies - I have decided to copy the post from Jackie into the BE Concierge thread. She addressed a lot of concerns raised in this thread and I think everyone should have the opportunity to read it. I did omit some of the names, so that people would not feel singled out. My apologies for taking so long to make the decision. My life doesn't always coincide with the posts on this forum and I am quite busy today.

Thanks ,Loquita! :hugs: Thanks for the suggestions, Bonniekir! If I can ever pry the bag from my mother's hands, I will ask Jackie if she can repair. My mother doesn't mind but she didn't pay for the bag. LOL!

I also want to piggyback on some of the comments about the importance of this resource. I love Miu Mius, especially the Miu Miu bow but there have been issues about the bows on these bags splitting. But b/c I frequent the Miu Miu forum, I am an informed consumer and I've shied away from purchasing this particular bag.

Glad to be of any help to you, m'dear!! And ITA -- this is an important resource offered in many TPF subforums, and I have already learned a lot by reading this thread. And not to get too OT, but I am in massive  with the Miu Miu bow but have never purchased one because of the bow sealant issue, either...it saddens me because it is such a gorgeous bag! (But I think that I would be much sadder if I forked over the $$$ and had the bag go sour on me). ;)

Hi Ladies,

I was just wondering if it's just my bag or if other's have this experience. Often when I use my zipper on my hug me it gets stuck on my fuschia lining. As a result, the lining get's frayed when it becomes caught. Occasionally I even will think it tore but so far whenever this happens I'm able to use my sharp scissors to cut away (very carefully) the fray.

Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone have suggestions? It doesn't happen every time I use the zipper just at random. But, I"m worried the next time it will tear the lining and then I'm in trouble.

Wow. I have never heard of this, but it must be very annoying!! I would seriously talk to Jackie about this -- it sounds like there is too much fabric around the zipper to me, and maybe they can adjust the lining. Alternatively, LMB does work on linings as well, if it bothers you that much. You can contact Barbara there and ask for an estimate. I just sent in another bag to them (not a BE) and they did a beautiful job, very quickly!

Hi Lovebags, I don't think this is a normal occurrence. I only have 1 Hug Me in medium and this doesn't happen. I haven't experienced it with any of my BE bags either. Is the zipper flat and stitched on evenly? I would take Loquita's suggestion and have it looked at. It may be an easy fix. The lining seems sturdy enough but I think you are right to worry that it may tear if this keeps happening.

I am not having that trouble with any of my 3 Hug Mes but it sounds familiar and I am sure that it has happened with something of mine (not necessarily a BE). Which bit of the lining gets caught?

PS - I remember! It was a lower cost bag that I took to India as part handbag/part hand luggage. It drove me mad, as the zip used to get stuck in the lining at particularly inconvenient moments. I had to cut myself free in the end.

I had a shipping issue with my AP from a recent order. It took just over 3 weeks (or about 15 working days) to get to me, from the date of the shipping notification that I received, because the label got misprinted with my correct street address and postal code, but with Canada as the country instead. (FYI, I'm in Asia.) My package came to me with "Missent to Vancouver, B.C., Canada" stamped on it as a result.

Jackie was good enough to look into it for me, and it turns out that there may have been some kind of glitch or error with the automated system they have for entering countries and postal codes, leaving the previous country on the printed label despite my street address being used. BE/their shipping company has stated they'll look into this further as well. I'm not sure if this has happened before or might still possibly happen again, but I'm just posting my experience with this shipping problem here for the record!

Also, apparently, the package was somehow redirected to me without going back to BE. I've no idea how that came to be, but if it was Canada Post (or *gasp* even Royal Mail! ;)) that somehow managed to redirect it with just the street address and postal code (no city/country anywhere on the package either), kudos to them!

Ladies, thanks for the support and suggestions on my bag. I"ll probably take it to be checked local as I rather not have to worry about the bother to ship back to London. Although, I do know if I did Jackie would bend over backwards to make this situation right again. Plus, I know she's extremely busy now with her upcoming sale.

If my local repair shop can't fix it then I"ll let Jackie know.

Jenova, the zipper is catching on the fuschia lining right underneath the zipper where it meets. I actually don't even mind using my scissors on occasion it's just a tear would be trouble and then it might not even allow the zipper to zip since it would probably get caught each time in that case.

Wish me luck everyone. I"ll get this resolved eventually.
