According to a recent ******** article, any bag with Kelly in the name is now considered a quota bag.
Actually what that article says is that one customer has reported that her SA said that and then the author followed up with “Again, this is a local rule reported from one or more boutiques in the U.S. It is not a confirmed U.S. or global rule at this time to our knowledge.” It’s more rumors and at best, single store limiting policy.

If a client can purchase more birkin/Kelly at a different store in the same country under the same profile, it is not a Hermes brand quota bag, but rather a specific store policy. Every store has the freedom to enact purchase limits on any item they desire, doesn’t make it a company quota item.

In March 2022, in our H, the Constance and Kelly Danse ("any with the name Kelly in it") are considered a quota bag. Hence I will need to purchase the other two "quota bags" (Birkin and Kelly) under my spouse's name later this year.

My friend came to visit me from Cali and had already purchased a Constance (in Vegas in January and Kelly Danse in Hawaii in March), she tried to purchase a Constance and Birkin in Cali with her Sa and they looked at her account and told her that she was already at her 2 quota limit.

While visiting me, she tried again and she got the same answer, already at her quota limit for the year......Interestingly, sometime in the next 2 years, (we were both told by our Sas) that they will be able to track quota bags worldwide, not track all your purchases but ONLY quota bags worldwide in the new system they are trying to implement. Gone will be the days we can fly to Dubai or Paris for "extra" B or K's. :(

Yes. My SA has said the same thing when I asked for KD. She told me to wait for my K28 first then KD after. My DH was so happy to hear that he said to my SA, please make sure to have her wait before getting another QB for her ..

:) you should have told your hubby, " but babe my SA started an account under your name too, so now we get 4 quota bags per year" problem solved. Haha to be a fly on the wall for that conversation. Hahaha

Heard from SA that my local boutique will limit to 1 quota bags per year for clients. However, for “good” clients, they might be able to do 2 with the second one towards end of the year. (SOs are separate)

Curious to see what everyone has heard about this.

(Really hope it’s still 2 quotas per year..)

Hello, Thank you for sharing your experience.
I just wanted to add to your statement of 'for those of us who do not live in Europe', I live in Paris (moved here from Canada last year and have not gotten 1 single appointment)....
That is about 6 months of trying each day (both phones, mine and my husband)....so, it is not as easy for 'locals' either hee hee.
Oh, by the way, for those who purchase other items in hopes to get an appointment online, that is not really really affecting the online registration either......as I spent about 19k euros in the past 6 months (yes...got 1 more small leather good today haha)...and still no appointment.

So, spending does not affect online registration. It is all based on luck. So, only buy what you like.
My husband said it is due to my work going well that all my luck is going to my job instead of an appointment LOL (He would say anything to shut me up from complaining about the online registration drama haha).

So, I do miss the days when I can go to my local store in Canada a few times a month, buy some goodies and get quota bags as well. No bags at all from Paris after 6 months of living here. And in Canada, I would have got at least 1 to 2 quota bags within 6 months. oh, the good old days.

Have a nice day, everyone  wherever in the world you are.
Ohh the struggle is real! I would love to have your SA because where I live in Canada your spending would not get you an offer. I have had 2 quota bags in 4 years with ~100K spend. In Canada we are limited to one quota bag per year and 3 non quota bags. As far as I know it is that way at all the Canadian boutiques, and has been so for years! If you got those kinds of offers in Canada you were very much the exception rather than the rule.

Hi Genepi,
Which city are you in? As I am not a VIP at all, I spent less in Canada for non quota bag items than in Paris as Paris stores do have more items I am looking for (EXCEPT appointment/bags LOL).
But my connection is actually through my dear mom who had been a loyal Hermes customer since I was born, so, thanks to her, I am able to spend a certain amount and grab a bag. The special bags are limited to 2 per year per person as you mentioned, So, I manage to get them either through my own account or through my husband etc. But all through the same SA.
But here in Paris, spending does not actually help.... I have no idea why.... makes me feel like Hermes shopping in Paris is so much harder than in my home country as far as quota bags. So, I am glad all the items I got here are still items I enjoy and will buy even if I don't get any appointments. I refuse to buy anything that I don't absolutely like, so, I do wonder....maybe I am not buying from the categories they want? maybe i have to buy things I hate but they have to sell like a horse saddle even though I have no horses? hee hee.
