I will never look at eggs the same way.
I said that after seeing an egg come out of a chicken's butt for the first time when I was younger but at least I knew it came from a chicken's butt...nowadays I'm not so sure unless I'm either buying from a farmer or an organic store.
I remember having an overnight layover in Hong Kong a few years back and refusing to eat or use anything in the airport or hotel unless it was mine.

It's not surprising, unfortunately, that the quality plummets as soon as the cost of labor and craftsmenship drops...hence why I haven't strayed to Burberry (might have if it stayed truly British).
The highest quality bag in my entire purse collection is one hobo made by the local leather craftswoman; handmade from thick yet buttery-soft black leather, actual silver hardware, and lined with a suede interior. It's roughly the size and design of a Delightful MM yet has received more compliments than any of my branded purses combined...quality and originality that cannot be counterfeited.

Yes I agree about Burberry. Although I had to let go of a trench made in Italy because I went from a 12 to a 6, that was one piece I wish I still had!!! The price after my discount and sale was unreal.
Would love to see your beautiful bag. Maybe you can post a pic if you have one! I had the best pair of shoes made for me from a local when I was in Greece. They were my favorite, but unfortunately the ocean decided to steal them off my feet one summer and probably became some whale's breakfast...[emoji53] Strong tides!

Don't blame you!!!

Lol! Not sure I want to see that process either.

I don't have one but will try to remember when I grab it during my next purse rotation.

Meh, it's pretty overrated although watching a Kiwi in action is pretty impressive...it's basically the equivalent of a woman popping out a 12 year old. Last video I saw showed the new mother laying on her side whilst twitching and gasping for breath...ouch!

I haven't watched your video yet, but unfortunately many, many legitimate companies manufacturer in China. That doesn't mean things are fake. Lots of other companies import parts from China and then use a "Made in the USA" or "Made in ____" label and we never know the difference. Having traveled there a few times (on other business - not designer goods) I can tell you I've seen fakes so good that I held real designer goods beside them and couldn't tell the difference. Very very scary.

No, that doesn't mean a Prada that was made in China is fake but it does mean that, most likely, the blueprints have been sold to another company who start making fakes. Or the same factory will make both the real thing AND fakes - that actually happens! First, they meet their quota and deliver X amount of, say, bags to the customer and then, behind the customer's back, use the same design to make fakes.
Everything is copied nowadays; even Ikea furniture and milk. I think some of the blame is on the fashion houses themselves - moving production to China, Vietnam and other countries' sweat shops to satisfy their greed and in return, getting a fakes industry that's booming.

Thank you for posting this. What are we supposed to do about it? Not buy medicine incase we get a fake? It's so scary. I wonder if the meds have made their way to North America yet.

After. The cheaper stuff is China, and the more expensive stuff is Europe. BUT, if you buy a check print bag, it might be either![emoji53]

And yet the cheaper stuff....is not cheap at all! [emoji35]
I wonder how long It will take the customers to refuse to buy anything from a prestigious brand that lays off their loyal workers to cut costs in a low wage country.

Very true

The only way these brands are going to change their behaviour is to put as much effort into quality as they do in marketing and watching the bottom line.

If people don't buy they will be forced to change their policies.
