It should fit a 1" binder. You may even fit a 2-2.5" one, but I'm not sure how much more you'd be able to get in there aside from the binder. :s

with the resurgence of this thread, my thoughts of the besace have evolved from "that's a really cute style - i should keep my eye on it" to "must have! right! now!"

I was sooo lusting after one of these and was fully prepared to buy one of the ones on ebay - until the announcement was made that the flat messenger was being rereleased. I think I'll be getting one of those instead because I like the convenience of not having to deal with the flap. Still, a really cute style! I think its pretty sexy style for men, too.
