I've purchased three bags over the past three years from RealReal. A YSL Muse 2, an LV Neverfull GM and a Chanel New Clutch with Chain. The YSL was a decent price and in excellent shape. The LV was in good preloved condition (as described). The price was high vs a new plain NF but this one was a personalized version with a purple interior and with purple/gold striping & initials. The initials work for me (my initial and my BF's initial), purple is my favorite color and it is nicely broken in. Then today happened. I received the Chanel. Everything seemed fine from the outside. Inside the bag was a different story. In addition to being a little dirty overall, there is a bunch of white spots in the inside pocket. I also found several pieces of gum in wrappers - CHEWED. That's right, apparently the prior owner didn't have access to a trash can so threw her gum into her Chanel. I don't understand how RR doesn't have a process that includes checking the inside of each bag. I've written to them about a return and the white spots in case it's mold.
On the consigning side I've been happy. I moved to a smaller home and sending items to RR was very helpful to rid myself of some access.
