Comparing leather by Year and Season (best, worst, characteristics)

05 leather is suppose to be nicer than 06....I will definately keep it. Personally I am looking for anything 05:shame:
Just so you know, Cult Status in Australia still has 05' stock...
However, their prices are more expensive for some reason.
I got my first bag from there...
I have a bordeaux first (by far my favorite leather of all time) and a grenat coin - the grenat is more on the red with orange spectrum and my bordeaux has more cranberry wine in it. I'll get a pic up later. My bordeaux first is so collapsible (is that word?) that when my mirror hangs out it hangs really far because just that little bit of weight collapses the side of the bag down.

Can you imagine what would happen if you put those on Ebay - not that you would, but can you just imagine the frenzy!
You know people talk about the different leathers & a lot prefer the older "lighter" leather but I have two bags here at the moment one the much lighter leather of 05 that a client asked me to sell for her & one the new "heavier" leather. In my humble opinion there is no comparison the heavier leather is much nicer!

The smoothest of all my bags, and she has also gotten more slouchy - love that! The marron is a little more distressed, and the sapin has different leather still! They are all so unique, but that's why we love them! I will post pics later of my cornflower city and my BLACK CITY that I won from aaallabama!

...your new miss black city is from s/s '06, but the leather looks like f/w '06 (the leather's very thick & heavier than most s/s '06 bags & is only minimally distressed)
