Can update us if your sistee decide to buy from ioffer? I am not sure how much their price for selma nowadays but yes I also saw such bags wrapped in plastic but look very similar to authentic ones.. Not sure about weight and other details though eg: zipper, stitching, etc..

I know there are sellers here in Australia on eBay, they have over 800 positive feedback, their bags look 100% authentic, but are not. Every little detail is the same, so much that I kept my selma next to the enlarged pictures of theirs and I couldn't find one tiny detail that was different. But I could tell from the wrapping and the dustbag that it's not authentic. All they sell is mk, and all these buyers have left feedback thinking they bought the real thing.

Hi all - I was asked to add more photos so here they are - I hope they're helpful.

This is the large Colette Michael Kors purse in the seasonal color combination, "Watermelon - Pink - Chili". It's from Nordstroms and is my anniversary present from my partner.

Any questions, I'd be happy to answer. Here we go:

(Sorry about that blurry photo - but I thought it gave you a good idea of the "boxy" shape of it. Key fob attached to inside of purse - I pulled it out for the photo.) Purse hook from Amazon.

(I photographed the strap length at the request of another community member - as you can see, it is approx. 36 inches long, but the buckle was set a couple of holes in - so a bit more length than that, even. Drop would be approx. 18 inches.)

Interior is generous with pockets: two "flatish" pockets on one side, a slimmer and more "pouffy" pocket on the other (for bulkier items), and the "Michael Michael Kors" leather label on that adjacent pocket.

Tan MK logo'd lining with sparkly gold, as you can see. Key fob in there with gold lobster clasp. For reference, my Target wallet (ha) fits perfectly in one of the "flat" pockets, and it measures 4 inches x 5.75 inches.

So far very pleased with this purchase, not sure how to maintain the leather so if anyone has any suggestions I'm all ears. I have some leather satchels and I know what to use on those, but this leather is softer and seems different. Thanks for your time /eyes! :D

Finally have time to take some pics. This is the 2nd Colette I received - I'm still undecided but maybe it's a sign I should not keep this bag :confused1:

Beautiful purchase and thorough pictures and review :) You should post all of the pics in the Reference Library under "Colette" so anyone can find them there!

I really love the color scheme of this bag. I was wondering on ways to protect the leather on my black colette too. So far I am just very careful with her but I noticed it scratches and gets dented easily..I was just trying not to stress about it but I find myself keeping her tucked away and stored carefully and maybe will bring her out in fall/winter season. Good call on the purse hook...I STILL don't have one!

If you're not in love I wouldn't keep it. Does this one have scratches and indentations too? I know the feeling though, I wasn't sure if I wanted to keep colette after exchanging twice. The third one felt right though, and after wearing it I was convinced I liked it enough to keep it. Did you get it on sale?

I got it on sale, hence trying to make myself believe I'm in love with it but you're right, I probably shouldn't keep it since I know I'm not in love :)
This one have tiny scratches but the indentation right above the Michael Kors logo is quite visible in person and it has a dimple as shown on the 3rd photo I posted.

I think the colette is a beautiful remake (not a copycat like some say) of the celine bag but the type of leather MK chose was not IMO well thought out. It has too much detail to get every piece of leather perfectly smooth and tight on leather that's so soft. A stronger leather probably would have less issues with dents, dimples, scratches and wavy puckering. This MK bag style has the most returns, exchanges and dissatisfied customers. I'm staying away from it unless I find one in mint condition and on a super duper sale LOL! Probably not gonna happen...If your not smiling everytime time you look at it return it.
