My Colette is easily scratched but its not that bad and i do love it ! I think if the bag had been in pebbled leather it would have been perfect because MK must have had a nightmare with returns on this bag.

I got mine on sale and I absolutely love it. There are a lot of great details in this bag. If you like it, you should get it to try it out. You can always return it if it doesn't work out.....
It depends what you're looking for in a bag. I find the pros to the Colette style are: large carrying capacity (for the large size), quality craftsmanship, luxurious look and feel whenever you interact with it, multiple pockets inside and a convenient outside zipper pocket for easy access (only on the large model, as I understand it).
You're also buying a pretty unique design. Although I understand a lot of people read the Colette as a knock-off of the Celine, I think it stands on its own.
I really like the optional shoulder strap, too - you can carry it a couple of ways.
Cons: expensive!
(<-- me with the bill), sooo nice you're a bit paranoid when you go out with it (that you may incur wear and tear), and the leather is super soft so although I haven't scratched mine yet, I'm wary about this issue. I still feel a bit weird about it like it's way too nice for me! :worthy:
Overall it's a great purse, though. If it were on sale I'd say go for it but then I'm an enabler.
