Thank you so much for the input! I definitely plan on getting a small, good to know that sagging isn't really an issue for that size. The coral and blue colors are gorgeous!! I love your collection.
Thank you very much, and I hope you find the one you love soon. I love colorful bags. Actually, this cch is my first bag in black. I love cch that much :)

Hi all, I just got a 19a coco handle from a local reputable consignment store, the bag is in almost brand new condition with the sticker still on the lock. I have been looking for this particular colour combo and unfortunately waited for a whole year and doesn't seem like Chanel is making it again anytime soon, hence I went through consignment store for the first time. I'm not too too familiar with Chanel (this is only my 3rd bag and first with all aged gold hardware). Could someone please tell me their experience with aged/brush gold hardware on Chanel and please let me know if this is normal? Thank you so much in advance.

Hi everyone! I recently added a small coco handle to my collection and wanted to get an opinion from those that own the bag as well…

I noticed shortly after bringing the bag home that the handle is slightly tilted to the back (one side more than the other) and wanted to know if it was normal. Could it maybe straighten out over time? I tried looking at pictures in this thread to see how everyone else’s bags looked and there are some that do appear completely straight. I’m still within my return window but I don’t know when another one will come in stock.

Other than the handle, the bag is beautiful and the absolutely perfect size! Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!

Its normal. My black small looks like that too , the handle is tilted.

The most important thing to take note of is if the bag when you place it on the table, the bag does not topple forward.

That would be a no no for me.
In addition, check the four corners of the bag and see if there are any leather peeling especially at the tip of the four corners. You may just want to take note when you take the bag in and out of the very thick black dust bag, the four pointy corners do not rub so much against the fabric of the dust bag that the leather eventually peels off.

Hi! Your bag looks great. Mine flopped a bit forward from day one. I think it's a hit or miss. Your flop is not a big deal.
I would keep your bag. It's gorgeous, and as you said, there are hard to find as there are not many in stock these days.

Congratulations on your CCH!

Hi! No, this is not normal. I have two CCHs with antique gold, one from 2017 and the other from 2018. Neither have that issue.

The antique gold finish in your bag posted seems to have been stripped from the chain, so now it looks to be raw metal from what I see.

Unless you plan to repair it and recover the finish, I would not keep it. Being that it is raw exposed metal, I would worry it may rust over time and now you have to deal with a bag that has rusted metal. If you realy really love the bag, I would for sure fix the exposed metal to stabilize it.

If I remember correctly, the handle is the lizard handle, so if you like lizard, I think Chanel stopped doing that skin a few years ago when they said they would no longer use exotic skin.

If you want a medium tone beige, and it doesn't have to be with a lizard handle, beiges come out pretty regularly. I recall Chanel did embossed/fake lizard handles for a season or two, but I think it was after 2019 (you can probably look at your handle to see if it's genuine or embossed lizard). If it is lizard, be sure to check to see if there is any peeling.

On metal...
For what it's worth, if I had the choice, I would choose LGHW over antique gold anyday.
Both my CCHs are antique gold, but that was the metal used earlier, so I did not have a choice. It's 100% preference of course, but I did want to mention that.

Chanel now seems to be using their classic LGHW with their CCHs now, which I love.

Hope this helps, and good luck to you.

Ahhhh thank you so much for your input. The handle is lizard embossed, not real exotic which I prefer. Chanel hasn't done any nice neutral coloured CCH the whole year other than pastels and super whites. I truely love this colour combo and haven't seen any at retail store. Plus the price keeps going up so it's nice to find something exactly what I'm looking for and in great condition (well, except that little part after I inspected the bag). The seller's SA had offered to fix it but it would take at least 3 months are they are in different province. I'm thinking to take it to my local boutique to enquire but for now it's not very noticeable. Anyone had experience of having their strap completely replaced? If so, how much does Chanel charge? The CCH 19A strap is quite short anyways...

hi its the same with mine :)! I wouldnt worry too much about it

just bought this one, immediately noticed the uneven flap but unfortunately I feel like these days they only have one in stock and you either take it or leave it. been hunting forever for a coco handle so I pulled the trigger but still bothering me a bit do you guys think its very noticeable?

Hi, it is noticeable in that pic but I’ve found that the flap can lay a bit uneven if the bag is stuffed unevenly or there is a security tag on one side. I would place the bag upright and unstuffed then reassess the flap. It’s a beautiful color!

Hi,
My black CCH has the same tilted handle, but mine is in burgunday. It is not a problem for me. However, if that really bothers you, you should not keep it for this price. The problem is it may take many months to get another one. I heard the wait time may be up to a year to be able to get one in my country. Luckily, I got mine last year before this crazy wait time. Enjoy your lovely CCH!

Why don't u try sitting it on a table n take a photo? Could be the different angle that's makes it look misaligned?
