Here are the pink mini and red small/medium.

Seems like stores still call them by different names still.

I thought I loved the pink, but not so much after seeing more photos. It has a bit too much blue in it for me. Surprisingly, I love the red!

I went with red in the small/medium.

Looks great. Can you please share how this red looks in different lighting. Do you think it has blue undertone?

Hi! My actual bag has not arrived yet (I just spoke to the SA yesterday), but yes, after seeing photos of 22K red, I would say it's a pure red, with a tiny drop of blue. Often times, Chanel will do red with a drop of yellow, so the bag is more of an orange red. I would say this bag is not the orange red, which I'm happy about. I prefer true reds.

Hmm... if you need to decide soon, I would suggest looking at any red 22K bag in photos. It does not have to be a CCH as all the 22K reds in caviar are the same shade. You can then determine if you like this shade of red.

For me, I like that this red can be worn year round which is nice. The other Chanel orange reds to me are just for spring/summer, and I find that hue a bit hard to coordinate vs. a true red which seems to be easier for me. I wear striped tees a lot, so the exact shade of red matters to me.

Good luck in your decision!

Thanks for describing the color. I have seen the 22S red in person and it was orange red. True, its more spring/ summer red to carry. I prefer a blue red too. And I wear a lot of red in winters.

Somehow, just like black or beige i find a true red bag easy to wear no matter the season or colors of outfit. Under FOMO now and will go ahead and reserve mine in the smaller size with my boutique SA. Love the CCH! Add a twilly a looks great in casuals too.

Me too! I feel exactly the same way you do. 22S was too orange for sure. I can't see wearing orange reds in the fall/winter.
Blue reds are much more year round, including the summer. And.. in the absence of a perfect red, I always tend to go more toward a deeper blue red and not an orange red.

I have two bags in 12A red, and that has been the perfect red for me. I am excited to see my 22K red CCH and compare the two reds. I'm a big matchy matchy bag and shoe person.:heart: I know, it's not for everyone, but I love it.

I asked my SA if there was a 22K red ballet, and he said not yet. I hope one comes out as Chanel usually pairs red ballets with the seasonal reds. Just FYI in case you might like a ballet (I bought 12A red ballets and love them).

I was just thinking... 12A red. Wow.. that's a decade ago. Maybe it's the same red so my ballets are automatic match!:biggrin::heart:

I am not shoe and bag matchy at all… wear sneakers all the time. But red ballets will look so good with this bag.

Looking forward to your comparison between 12A and 22k reds. You never know they are similar shades and your ballets match. Hope they do. I placed my reserve and am so excited!

So excited to see pictures of your bag! The red looks gorgeous. I’m sooo tempted, red is my favorite color. But my closet is 80% shades of red so I feel like it’ll be hard for me to match and wear a red purse. I tend to wear solid colors (mostly dresses) and think red on red would be too much. I’d only get to use it maybe 10% of the time when I wear black/brown/white.

Do I get a red CCH because I absolutely love the color and only use it a couple times a month, or do I get black/beige which isn’t as special to me but would be so easy to match my red outfits and use all the time decisions

Hi! Here is my two cents for what it's worth...

I love red too, and I love color. I stopped wearing my red bags for a while because I viewed them as so neutral.
I started to wear my other more colorful bags (e.g. pink, green, orange). With this season, I'm back on the red wagon again.

On wearing the same color bag with an outfit... I personally love it when one of my pieces (top or bottom) coordinates with my bag. I like my bag to either contrast with my outfit or match with my outfit. I do not like my bag to fade with my outfit (e.g. black or beige). I like my bags to make a statement.

Using the striped tee and jeans theme (my usual casual look)...
If I wear a white/navy striped tee with jeans, I could wear a red bag to contrast.
If I wear a white/red striped tee with jeans, I could wear a red bag to match.

I have an orange GST tote, and I found two sweaters that match my tote.
When I wear those sweaters, I absolutely grab my orange tote. It would be similar to your red outfits. I bought green tops that match my green CCH too.:heart:

On black and beige...
I have several black and beige Chanel bags. These are my least worn bags, but I purchased them thinking "they are classics" I need to own them. For me... what a waste.. I will not buy anymore black bags. I rarely wear them as I feel a bit boring with them. It works in a pinch, but given the choice, I always grab my colors.

To be fair... a black bag was my first Chanel. That's all I had for a few years, so I wore that black bag to death, with everything, all seasons. I now have a choice, but if I just had one bag, yes... black is the safest (but most boring) color.

Finally, on matching exactly... as long as it's in the same family of red (blue red family vs. orange red family), it works.
You see people who wear pink and red together and it works because it's in the same color family (I actually love pink and red together!). Or people who pair pale blue with navy blue/jeans... love that look, especially with an eye popping bag.
I would think if you have outfits the same red family, the bag will be gorgeous with your outfits.

On black...I am personally not a fan of black bags with red outfits as it seems really harsh to me. This is 100% personal preference.
On beige... just FYI the beige this season is not beige claire in case you were think it's beige claire. The CCH beige is a seasonal beige, more a light camel, a bit darker than beige claire with less yellow undertones (beige claire has a lot of yellow undertones).

My vote goes to buying color bags, especially in the color you love. Everyone does black and beige.
Color is unique, they pop, and a happy color bag just puts a smile on my face which is the whole point of fashion... to give yourself an ear-to-ear grin when you wear it.

Just like many people carry the same black bag all the time (summer and winter), I am sure if I carried my same red bag year round, it would become my signature look, regardless of my outfit.

There are many who love neutral bags as it's safe. But to me safe is boring, so I love color. Again, it's 100% preference.

I just want to share my two cents for another point of view. Hope this helps you decide. Good luck!

Just to share my experience, in case anyone has some concern about sagging at the corners. These are the small size (old mini). I have been using them with love regularly. They are about 2 years, 1 year, and 3 months old (blue, black, and coral). Honestly, I never put anything inside when not in use, just make sure the weight of the chain strap is not completely on top when the bag is not quite full.

Your bags look great! My bags would have a complex sitting next to your bags.
My bags are so beat up, old, and wrinkled, they would be considered the senior citizens next to your bags!:heart:

Thank you so much for the input! I definitely plan on getting a small, good to know that sagging isn't really an issue for that size. The coral and blue colors are gorgeous!! I love your collection.

Thank you! Mine will eventually be the senior citizens in my collection too, but I will be sure to keep them looking young and healthy as long as possible :)

Hi everyone! I recently added a small coco handle to my collection and wanted to get an opinion from those that own the bag as well…

I noticed shortly after bringing the bag home that the handle is slightly tilted to the back (one side more than the other) and wanted to know if it was normal. Could it maybe straighten out over time? I tried looking at pictures in this thread to see how everyone else’s bags looked and there are some that do appear completely straight. I’m still within my return window but I don’t know when another one will come in stock.

Other than the handle, the bag is beautiful and the absolutely perfect size! Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!
