Looked at my small (old mini) and they do line up on both sides but my Medium does not on one side but does on the other side. I have seen many like the pic and I would not be concerned about it.

I might add that I would be more concerned about the front and back of the bag quilts lining up which both of my bags do.

Does anyone know if the pattern on the sides of a coco handle has to be aligned if its a real one? Im thinking about buying the one attached but Im not sure as the quilting is so off? Id really appreciate some help from coco handle lovers ☺️ View attachment 5576749

Ah okay they are kind of aligned, at least way more then on the one I posted! I feel like most are at least somewhat aligned, not complete chaos like on the other one Thanks so much for taking the time and posting the pics!!

Looks like it is coming for 22k? They usually offer it every other season (did for 22A, didn’t for 22B) but would check with a reliable SA. There are no more reservations on bags for most people but I saw these bags popping up even after the 22A release date (in my store and the stock forum) so definitely should be possible.

Am so bummed about my Coco Chanel....i have had it for about 6 months and used it only for a little bit (with a lot of care) and the corners are already showing wear so disappointed with the quality. I was thinking about purchasing another Chanel bag but don't think i will given this quality issue...

I think corner wear is more to do with the pointed corners of the bag than Chanel quality itself.

I purchased this coco handle in chevron aged calfskin, small size from Boutique in Milan back then in 2018, still loving it. The aged calfskin still looks smooth and shiny and indeed quite durable as scratches arent easy to be seen, the hardware is aged gold-tone.

I have 2 medium coco handles one blush and one black chevron and each are about 4 yrs old - I have no corner wear on either.I do apply leather conditioner on all my bags about 3 or 4 times a wear and on the coco handles I make sure to rub on the corners.

I've seen this recommendation in a few places, to apply leather conditioner before you wear a bag (and as maintenance afterwards). Wondering which leather conditioner you use and if your bags are caviar? And, do you apply to all areas or just the corners?

I use Cadillac Select premium leather lotion you can buy it on Amazon. My Chanel bags are caviar and I have a Lambskin 19 and use it on that too. I also have tory burch or coach bags that are smooth calfskin and also works well. Coach makes a leather conditioner too but I feel the cadillac is better. I use the lotion all over my bags -I apply a little more than it says and rub it in and buff with clean cloth after.
