**Coco Handle** Club

If you had a choice, which one would you pick for my first non-vintage Chanel? (while patiently waiting for my HG, mini reissue so black or rhw) Please let me know your thoughts. They are both small size (old mini). USD600 difference in prices.

Chevron dark grey + shiny dark silver hw
(Like-new pre-loved)


OR

Diamond quilt so black
(Brand new)

I love the quilted look more so I would pick the So Black if you can get it in stores. I almost kept a preloved So Black coco handle one size up but noticed there was slight gold flecks on the turn lock where the So Black coating was starting to rub away. Buying it preloved would worry me too much with whether Chanel would do repairs later down the road.

Both are beautiful so it really depends on whether you love chevron or quilting and which hardware you prefer. $600 price difference might feel like a lot when you're making the purchase but if you pick based on price, you'll always think about the one you passed on.

Bright colors do look better on smaller bags and much easier to style... so I ended up with a large (old small) coco handle in black and a small (old mini) coco handle in dark pink. That's just my personal preference - but it sounds like you have similar thoughts.

Got my hands on the 21P light pink/rose clair small (old mini) CCH with shiny gold hardware! I was placed on the wait list (4th) early January & got the call last Friday! The rose clair for 21P is warmer toned compared to 21C rose clair. In person, the color shows up mainly beige to me with light peach pink accents. She's also fully leather lined! I'm in love! She's my first CCH (Also posted a video unboxing & showing her off in different lighting if anyone is interested ) (cross-post from 21P thread)

On another note, I didn’t think the CCH would be so lightweight. It feels so nice to carry. Very impressed!

Congrats! Both are beautiful. I think coco handle might be my favorite Chanel style. Yes, the old mini size is pretty light even when packed full.

This is lovely! Do u have a picture of the 21S coco handle for reference on the pink colour tone difference? Haha I’m having a hard time thinking which colour 21p or 21s CCH to go for! It doesn’t help that they picture differently under lightings ><

I don't have a picture of the 21S CCH! I asked my SA about CCH for 21S and she told me that they didn't have any for that season, however, I did hear that 21A is coming out with a light pink/rose clair CCH as well. 21S's light pink/rose clair looks very cool toned with purple/lilac undertones from the pictures I've seen of the classic flap on Instagram while 21P's light pink/rose clair for me is warm toned with peach undertones. 21P shows up more beige vs 21S shows up more pink imo. I attached a photo from Instagram (not my picture, top 21S, bottom 21C) that shows 21C rose clair against 21S light pink/rose clair! 21P is a bit more warm toned compared to 21C but I would say it resembles 21C in certain lighting (from comparing to 21C's rose clair on Instagram to my bag). 21P shows up different in different lighting which makes it hard to describe haha The light pink/rose clair is kinda hard to get so I would suggest getting on a reserve/wait list asap! Overall, I think it depends on your color preference!

Hi, I just got the Coco handle in grey with lizard handle.It is preloved and price was good 3100 USD.I was in a hunt for reissue but when I saw that bag could not resist.It looks so classic and munch more sophisticated then the classic flap/reissue. The top handle makes it look more like lady like and can be dressed up or down.I guess for now I'm not going to add a clasic flap to my collection (unless I win the lottery ). What do you think isn’t she beautiful?

It's beautiful, but I want to point out you purchased the older Coco Handle (around 2015?) with the strap that is not removable. All Coco Handles now have removable straps so you can use it as a top handle without the chain for a dressier look. If that doesn't bother you, great! But I just wanted to be sure you knew that. Beautiful! Can you tell me the difference in sizes? I just purchased a coco handle in black with champagne hardware for $4300.00 and I’m so confused on the size references, is it a medium or a large? I think its the same size as a jumbo in terms of length?

It's beautiful, but I want to point out you purchased the older Coco Handle (around 2015?) with the strap that is not removable. Oh yes I know that and I’m ok with the fact I can’t remove the strap.I like to have the strap as I can’t really carry my bag all the time by the handle so I will be ok.The bag looks grate and the price is good so I pulled the trigger..I was quiet surprise to see that the Coco handle keep a high resell value, very close to what retails for and in some cases even more...I was under the impression that is seasonal bag and not that popular.
