In the past they sometimes accepted returns without a receipt. If they didn't retag the item and mark it with the bullseye, someone might buy something at the outlet for a discount and return it to the boutique for full value.Right -- I actually didn't know that they retagged to show where it was sold. I guess that helps them determine if they really, REALLY overmade a particular style that proved not to be very popular?
I just went on the site because I was thinking you might be confusing it with the Chelsea but I did see the Harley. It looked out of place next to the Edie and Nomads. Not sure what's going on. It's definitely an outlet bag in the U.S.I am confused clicked on Australia rather than UK site as there is a sale on there and wanted a nosy and they have Harley as well as nomads I thought Harley wasn't a FP retail bag????
I know so confusing to a newbie like me and as I'm in the UK and no where near London I can't see and feel the bags to know which leather is which some online retailers don't even say if it's leather let alone what type I had no idea coach did non leather bags!!!! There is an outlet 3 hours away from me in the north of England but they never have FP bags only MFF and they told me Harley is MFF and they will never have nomadsI just went on the site because I was thinking you might be confusing it with the Chelsea but I did see the Harley. They usually retag FP deletes for sale at the outlet and they put an F in front of the style number on the paper tag to indicate that it was sold at the outlet. They also often stamp a bullet mark on the creed patch to show that it was sold at the outlet even though it was a boutique bag. (The bullet stamp doesn't bother me if it means that I am getting 40, 50, 60, or even 70% off retail price!)
The way to tell for sure is to look at the creed pack or tag inside the bag. If there is an F in front of the style number on the creed or the internal tag, then it is an FP delete.

This very issue his came up in another group. The recent sale of FOS colorblock dinkies have creeds with an F stamped on them. I can't believe coach would take the time to place new creeds on all of these bags- so are these dinkies in fact MFF?
It did not come with a dustbag. Interesting all of the 1941 labeling is intact including the hangtag and the 1941 stamping. I am planning on keeping the bag- beautiful quality!I think that they are MFF Dinkies. In the past Coach has been known to make MFF versions of popular boutique bags that are similar or almost identical to boutique bags. Sometimes it is obvious that it is a different bag (different size, different surface texture, different strap) but sometimes it is hard to tell - in those cases the F at the start of the style number is the best indicator IMO.
The dustbag (or absence of a dustbag) is another clue - but not absolute - because I have found genuine FP delete bags at the outlet that were missing a dustbag.
But recently Coach made an MFF version of the Nomad bags that looked very much like the boutique version - as far as I could tell anyway - but they didn't come with dustbags.
But I am not an expert, so I will defer to others like @whateve, @Hyacinth, and @BeenBurned for their opinions.
If you like the bag then it doesn't really matter.
AND putting 1941 in the bags!If it has an F in front of the style number, it was a made for factory bag. This irks me that they are remaking 1941 bags for outlet....
Yes! The more I think about it, the more aggravated I get. Because they claim they want to compete in the upper levels with the big kids, but putting MFF 1941 lines into the outlets completely diminishes the product. So help me god, they start making MFF Rogues, I will probably move on to a different company. And this is coming from someone who has been loyal to the brand for two decades!AND putting 1941 in the bags!
I'm going to go against everyone's guesses and say these are not MFF.I was just about to ask about these Dinkies. I was in my local outlet yesterday, and there was a bunch of them on display. You could have knocked me over with a feather when I saw that F in the style number. Despite my disbelief, I think it is safe to say that, based on past knowledge, Coach is now making an MFF version of the 1941 Dinky. This certainly isn't the first time Coach has produced MFF version of popular retail styles.
