Coach's Changing Terminology for FP Delete Bags

Those are really good points to think about! I love the color and rivets, but can’t decide if I will feel guilty and end up trying to sell later on if I keep it. I am really bad about making a decision and then obsessing about the decision I made[emoji30]. I haven’t used it yet and have about 10 more days to make a decision whether to keep or return.
I have a lot of trouble dropping a lot of money on a bag. It is so hard for me to cut the tags on a new bag. It feels so final. If I decide to sell later, I lose a lot of money. If you can't bring yourself to cut the tags, then maybe you aren't that excited about the bag.

I am having so much anxiety over purchasing the new oxblood rivets Rogue for 30% off. It was still $600 with the discount and I haven't paid over $400 for a bag before. I am wondering if I should return it and see if the Rogues are being discontinued and will be 50% off during the holiday sale or keep it because I love it and try not to stress???!!! It just seems odd the Rogues were included in the sale this time when normally they are not. Any suggestions?? Not sure how happy my SA will be if I return

Rogues have been included in previous sales. There are no guarantees the rivets Rogue would be included in the SAS, but it's possible. It just depends on if you want to carry it now or wait to see if you can get a better price later. If you're having a lot of anxiety over the price I suggest you return it.

Don't worry about how your SA will feel. If you feel anxious, you might not be able to enjoy your bag. Imagine if you couldn't find it for a bigger discount later. How disappointed would you feel? Would you be okay to get another Rogue in a different color if that one were 50% off but not the one you got?

The Oxblood Rivets Rogue was at my outlet last week for 50% off, see the picture below. I have that bag and I am certain that it was the regular size oxblood rivets rogue. Another TPFer also reported it at her outlet last week, see the Outlet Spypics thread under the shopping forum.

You should take your bag and receipt back and ask for a price adjustment - they can check the computer for the current price for the bag - and if they resist then tell them you are returning it.

I would decide if I am willing to spend the $600. Will you use it a lot between now and end of November when the SAS will start and it may show up on there? I bought a bag full priced last Fall and it ended up at 50% off during the SAS. I was annoyed, but I did use it and enjoy it for a few months before it wound up that low. So for me, it was money well spent. Plus it was my only full priced item I had purchased in a long time. If you are stressing out about it, return it and take your chances, but if you love it, just enjoy it and use it.

I think the one she is referring to is the one with the rivets outlining the bag for this current season.

I appreciate your input! I was hoping it might come in the 25 size with rivets in oxblood which would be a lower price point, but not yet anyway. I wonder if the SA knows if they are going to be marked down at the next sale. Probably not.

If I remember correctly, they don't get their list until sometime in November. Of course the list and date if info is always subject to change.

Opps, my bad, thanks for the clarification! It is a pretty bag, but if I felt uncertain, I'd take it back and wait for the Holiday sale to see if it shows up there - or maybe something that I like even better!

Maybe you are right....or it is my obsessing that is making this such a difficult decision. And, I dread having to go back to the store and return...I am sure my SA won't be too thrilled with me, but I realize that should be the least of my concern!

Even if you.don't cut the tags dont you.only have 14 days to send back?

I thought it was a month? It's 14 days for a price adjustment.
I haven't bought a new bag from Coach directly in a long time so I haven't had to make that choice. Back in the day when there was no time limit to returns, I had bags sitting for months before I would carry them.

I remember those stores! I also remember the outlets, when I first discovered them, had nothing but leather goods, no signature at all. And it was all what are now classic styles- Janice's Legacy, Penny, Duffles, hobos, Studio backpacks etc. I got my first Coach bag at the outlet, but it was in fact a delete from the prior season. I wasn't as into the boutique stores at the time because it was 2000, it was signature for days back then in the boutiques, and I've always preferred the leather.
We too recalled those stores, shopped once or twice in the early 1990's. Leathers were all "H" weight, bullet proof, tank like. Made for working rather than high fashion.

Whether a bulleye or F I couldn't care less. I buy a bag for the leather and style, not the status. I also buy pre-owned off eBay and am not ashamed to show off my pre-owned deals. Doesn't make me like it any less. It's funny how everyone knocks the outlet. So ok to buy a bag from the outlet as long as it wasn't made for the outlet? If you're saying you won't buy MFF because of the quality then that point is lost on those dinky's because they're the same bag as FP. I doubt someone is going to come up to you and ask to see the storypatch. I guess I'm not understanding the point. I buy a bag for me not strangers opinion of me.
Yeah, and I really like your avatar photo! Older Ebay bags make great camera bags, daily carriers, ets.
