I love the shape and size of the courier. Hits me perfectly too, none of the sequins on the back touch or rub my clothes like I thought they might. The foiling just seems so delicate like it could just flake off.
They are gorgeous pieces, but I also don't want to worry about them 24/7. I think I will send 1 of the 2 back for sure, just need to decide if both should be returned. I'm trying to only buy bags and slgs that I can use often and not worry about.Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that

I didn't even notice that on mine. I can't really see the foil, it looks like straight leather to me but then again I'm no expert in leathers! I remember having a silver handbag from the Madison line which I got caught on a hook and ripped a hole in it; the leather was similar to what I see on these sequins so probably why I don't see the foil now as I have no clue what it should look like.

Too bad about your bags. I agree, they are too expensive for you to be disappointed. I'm not 100% sold on the leather sequins either. I think that is why I purchased the chalk eyelet courier crossbody bag and black eyelet wristlet 30. I plan to exchange the pink wristlet 30 for the chalk eyelet wristlet 30. I'll be very careful with my pink courier with leather sequins.
I probably wouldn't have noticed it if a few of the sequins didn't arrive already peeling off on the courier. Some of the sequins are also pretty "fuzzy" underneath. They needed a sharper cut to them to be a perfect circle. Considering ordering a 2nd one to compare, maybe I just got a sloppy one.
I inspected both pieces further this morning. The courier looks sloppy compared to the wristlet. It has fuzzy parts on some sequins along with the peeling and quite a few loose threads, wristlet doesn't seem to have any. I'm considering ordering a 2nd to compare.
I'm going to send back the size 30 wristlet. It's gorgeous but just too big. I can't seem to figure out how I would ever use it except for a nice dinner date which is near impossible to ever happen with 3 young kids lol. I think the courier would get more use by me. The smaller wristlet was out of stock during f&f sale and is back now but it looks to be too small. I would be too scared to use it to hold small stuff in a larger bag because it's so delicate.
To those of you that have the wristlet 30, how do you carry it? Do you use it often or more as a special occasion piece?
