Wow! That's bad, made me gasp looking at your pictures. My small black wristlet looks nothing like that. Strangely, mine actually came from a store, not factory wrapped at all so I would have thought mine would look bad because I do not have luck with items coming from stores. I'm so sorry yours looks like that!

So you don't think I'm being too crazy and picky? There are several sequins clusters like this.
 
No! I'm pretty laid back but this..... I would have immediately called my SA and I know she would have been as upset as we are. What you received is not acceptable at all!

I think I want to try one more order and see how it is. Problem is that I ordered online with my 40% off from SEWdimples. I'm afraid if I ship it back for an exchange they might be sold out by the time it gets there. Should I just reorder one now online and ship this defective one back with the newer order form? I can't make it to my closest boutique any time soon for them to handle it for me.

It depends on how much you want one. You can reorder but that would be at full price and there would be a delay in the refunding of your $$. Have you called the CS and see what they can offer? Maybe there is enough in inventory that you can send in and receive an exchange. I would first start with calling them and see what they say. The product you received I would consider "defective" and it's their responsibility to fix the situation for you.

I asked if I could order a 2nd today with the f@f discount then just ship this one back for return. She said she couldn't honor the 40% on the 2nd one, my only option is to wait for my exchange. I think it's kind of crappy on their part. By the time my 1st one ships all the way back to JAX and is processed there might not be any left, or I get a beat up store display.

I think 20 seems plenty, they're still pricey purses and with friends/family over, there won't be as heavy of incentive from consumers to purchase. But if you want to be safe, I would go with your option of buying and then returning the faulty one.... you'll just have to take a double hit on your card for awhile until you get a refund.

That is so crappy..... can you request overnight delivery from them? They can send you via email a prepaid overnight label. Either way, if you send it back, monitor the tracking number and request confirmation of when they receive it. When you have that confirmation, call them with that info and they should be able to process the exchange right away and ship to you.

To those of you that have the wristlet 30, how do you carry it? Do you use it often or more as a special occasion piece?


I got the black wristlet 30 when it first came out, but haven't carried it yet. When I do, I'll make sure the circumstances allow me to treat it delicately. It's in perfect condition -- no peeling.

I'm sorry yours has those defects, I hope you get a perfect replacement!

PS -- I just looked at your photos again -- it really looks gross! (No other word for it, lol). Can't wait to see your perfect replacement!

I haven't used my black one yet. I"ll probably save it for fall or for an upcoming trip. I have been really using the pink Courier for the last week or so. I think the Courier is a really nice bag. Even without the sequins. I like that it is a nice size bag and has a nice strap length to it, not too long, not too short. The size of the bag feels just right. Not too big or too small. I'm also happy with how much it holds. It was able to hold my large wallet, kindle and Coach hard sunglass case without playing Tetris (love that metaphor) Who coined that phrase again? Love it! Plus I have lots of room to spare. It has an outside zip pocket and an inside snap pocket along with the regular zip pocket. Also has double compartment. I wish I was able to get the black one with the pointelle??? on the front. I wouldn't mind if they bring out the bag without the sequins. So far I'm Happy with my bag.
 
I finally picked up my Rodarte tote from the boutique. It is still smaller than I want, but I love the details. Glad I was able to buy using F&F discount. I'm looking for a purse organizer to keep all my stuff nice and neat and to keep the tote clean. I think I still want a plan Gotham tote.
