I just ordered the pink Courier crossbody bag this morning. I was very tempted by the larger saddle bag, but I prefer a chain strap. I never thought I would buy another Coach bag in my life, but I like what Stuart Vevers has been doing to revive the label. I've been sniffing around the 1941 line for a while, and this collaboration with Rodarte finally pushed me into making a purchase. I recently sold most of my bag collection and have decided to keep only my bonafide "classics," my major investment bags, and am allowing myself to buy only one, maybe two, seasonal bags a year that I can sell off when I grow tired of them. My one splurge seasonal bag is the Coach x Rodarte bag I ordered today. It's just so pretty, and I needed something for Spring and summer, a pop of color in my sea of black leather bags. I can't wait to see it in person.

I saw the black courier with chain strap this past weekend. Wow! So gorgeous irl, pics don't do it justice. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!!! I love the style, the details, what a special bag. Congratulations to those that are getting one of the Rodarte items. If I were to spurge, not sure if I'd choose the black or peach. The black with the colorful flowers is stunning and would go with several colors. While I haven't seen the peach irl, it looks like a nice nude peach that would add a punch to a simple grey or black outfit. Anyway, just chiming in as I feel lucky to have seen one. I don't think I'll splurge though as it does look very delicate and I'd be afraid of bumping it into something and ruining it. The sequins look like they are held on with one piece of thread, and that scares me a little. I'm going to stay strong...

The colour combo to me on the second is more neutral and less flashy. It all depends on your day to day style and lifestyle I suppose but for me, I could see carrying the second a lot more than the first (though I will admit I don't tend to go for pinkish bags). I wear a lot of grey, black, etc so it would better for me.

But both are beautiful; the first would make an excellent evening bag, but I also think it would work just wonderful for some people with an ecletic casual style; like right at home with denim. The various colours seem to make it more versatile rather than less so.

It really depends on YOUR wardrobe and personal style. :smile:

ETA: I will add despite all I said above, I am more drawn to the black. The colours are just amazingly beautiful. Sometimes beauty wins over practicality!

Wow, appreciate this input! I think I'll get the pink then... I wear a lot of dark neutrals casual clothes, and agree that the black and grey sequins would be less flashy in the 2nd bag.

Thank you! I've decided on the pink :) Can't wait to receive it! I have the chalk courier with the pearls and it's soooo lovely that I wanted another!

Great choices. I have the courier in pink and the courier crossbody in chalk with pearls. I agree the pink is more casual. I passed on the black courier, but purchased the small wristlet in black because I wanted something with those gorgeous metallic sequins. Also, got the tote in black. Everything is beautiful IRL. So glad to add the items to my collection.

Ah, how is the black tote?? I don't think anyone's posted about purchasing a tote from this collection until you!

My SA ordered it for me. It will be delivered on Tuesday, so I will have to pick it up. I'll post pictures later in the week. Funny thing is this tote is sold out. We had to order it from another Coach store. :smile:

Please do share pictures! Twins on the courier bags :biggrin:! I can't wait to get the pink one, but I'll enjoy the white one for now... I love it's so light and carries all my necessities.

Glad to hear. I have not used any of my items yet. I'm really excited about the Black tote. Also, I noticed more Rodarte items are sold out on the website. Do you think anything will be deleted after the SAS?

I'm assuming that any items that do not sell after a number of seasons will eventually become a clearance item, right?...like the coachxelvis.

My SA told me the sequin courier bags are not meant to be everyday bags. As someone mentioned earlier in the thread, each leather sequin is only held by one thread, so you definitely need to be more careful with it.
I'll probably still wear mine casually..dont know about every day for like a month though.
