Hand-crafted is different than hand made. http://online.wsj.com/articles/SB10001424052748704032704575268510026087130
Anyway you put it, LV isn't worth the price, you're paying for the name.
And yet...you work for them?

There is a thread in the Chanel forum about the "Made in France" label. Any of the premium designers can do most of their manufacturing in Asia and just finish the bag in France in order to legally put the "Made in France" label on their items. It is probable that this is exactly what is happening. Some people who have gone on tours at factories say that in Asia, after hours, the same equipment may be used to manufacture high quality fakes.
Coach creeds still say hand-crafted. Sitting on an assembly line controlling a sewing machine is considered "handmade."
The bottom piece? I've seen that on bags, it's not a biggie. It happens from the way it was stored or shipped. If you stuff it and store it stuffed when not in use that 'inward sway' in the leather will even out.Is this normal ? I just got this bag like this in the mail!
Yes the bottom piece and round handle attachments have light scratches on them but not as bad as the other purse that was sent to me.The bottom piece? I've seen that on bags, it's not a biggie. Just keep the bag stuffed and it will help with the shape and a good leather conditioner should help buff the light marks out of the leather.....and it might even help with the reshaping of the bottom of the bag if the leather is dry.Yes the bottom piece and round handle attachments have light scratches on them but not as bad as the other purse that was sent to me.

NoI wouldn't expect a new bag to look like that...did you get a good price?

Oops! Since you said you had received it in the mail I thought that you had bought it off of ebay or somewhere like that since Coach ships UPS. Sorry, my bad. If it's new I wouldn't accept it unless you want the bag bad and think you won't get a better one.No
Thank you.
Unfortunately no. This is the second exchange for this purse. I had to do the first exchange Because the screws were coming out from the two metal pieces that attach to one of the round handle attachments.the first one I got was all scratched up on the handles like it had been used and the returned. and there were scratches on the leather too. So I took it back to coach the very next day after it was delivered to me. So the purse in the photo is the second one that I've received. And the manager at the coach that ordered this purse said that he called the store that filled the order and had someone look over the purse before they sent it out to me. And told me that the purse looked good and no scratches on the handle. So I'll go back to the coach store today.

Exactly.Ugg! What a drag! I understand your frustration!
When I run into a situation like this, I think to myself, "Well, you weren't meant to have this bag...so what other bag can I spend the $$ on?" LOL
