Plus I got this amazing deal on an old girl for my courier family and it came today. It's really not in bad shape but it's scary dirty and has a couple of ink stains that go through. Dab of paint might be the fix for those... This seller obviously didn't know what he/she had, as evidenced by the backwards tongue.

I would like to post much more photos here but often enough when I do I get the message that my file is too big. Then the only way I can get them on here is to load them to photobucket which is kinda a pain.

There are a lot of pen lines on the inside of this bag I'm going to ignore. And I mean a lot. 2 obvious spots where the ink went through from the inside to the outside. And there are at least 5 on the outside of the bag too. Previous owner must've always carried an uncapped pen inside it. So I"m starting with zit cream on the outside. Might try a little alcohol too before I give it a wash. Bu tI am ignoring the darker blobs because in my experience they tend to just spread if you try anything on them, and leave a bigger uglier mess. The color is much nicer than in the ebay pictures with a little darker coloring on the edging. LOVE!

Is it safe to do dunk a bag with ink blobs? Would they spread in warm sudsy water?

I've never had them spread in the bath. Sometimes they sorta bleed into the water but that didn't make it get bigger. I've only had them bleed with alcohol or acetone, where the liquid spread and left water marks around the orginal ink. This happened horribly to a light colored slim satchel where someone had written their name inside with some kind of marker or pen. I tried to remove it but instead it spread into a great mess that bled through to the other side of the bag :(

Thank you, Belicious. I am expecting my large plaza to arrive next week and I have been worried about what I think is an ink blob. I will relax now.
