New fobs/charms/keychains are great motivators to finish up rehabs! Finally working through all those Murphys I started eons ago. This one wasn't too bad, just pancaked with some darkened corners that I touched up and a badly scuffed corner that I smoothed using Liquitex tinted with acrylic.
Do y'all typically refresh the color on strap edges? I don't but this one's bothering me and I might have to break down and do it.

I only paint the strap edges if they look pretty bad. That one looks okay to me so I probably wouldn't bother. Nice bag! I like the color a lot.

If you are having a bad day (or even if you aren't), check this listing [emoji23]. To keep this rehab related, a little Soilove would likely make this bag like new again.

OMG I love it when men list bags in general because they are so utilitarian. Like when a guy who listed a sling bag with stains and said it was well constructed and would be great for camping. But this is even better. Will have to follow this dude. Just because. Thanks Ravvie, this is better than the beat up field bag that had "seen some thangs"

Hey Katev, I read your posts about that strapless Willis and what do you know it happened to me. Today I found a strap-less red Willis in the bargain bin at a thrift store for $3. I bought it, of course. But where do I go for a red strap? I looked at the silvercoach ebay site; those have the wrong hardware (even if I could match the red). There is some Amish site with the correct hardware but no reds. I have two other Willises, olive and black, so maybe I'll borrow and do a mismatch.

I bought a black strapless Willis a few years ago, and use a strap from a black briefcase. It has the right hardware, but is a little bit too wide. Red will be harder, though. Good luck.
