Just finished this bag and wanted to share it with you guys. It's probably my best rehab yet, and I just LOVE how it turned out! Dunked it, followed by one coat Lexol and two coats Leather CPR (first time using this, really like the results!) and finished with Blackrock. I think she needs a scarf, or maybe a charm?

I rehabbed the exact same bag. This is the charm I put on it, going with a 70s vibe. It's a thrifted glass butterfly pendant:

I love it! Amazing transformation! I use my antiqued brass keychains on my vintage purses.

I've also bought a few leather fobs on etsy that work well with vintage bags, like this pirate.

Tassels work nicely too.

Beautiful work...and I know it was WORK! I love the color, the patina, and how you totally transformed the bag.

This looks amazing!

2012 Legacy duffles are the bane of my rehabbing existence. I can't find anything to restore the loss of color in the corners.

I feel you [emoji20] I've resorted to custom mixing acrylic paints to match before I dunk them. That way all my "oops" color test spots wash off. It's a pain in the butt getting it right though. Sometimes, it's never right. At least this one is for me so it doesn't have to be perfect. The ones I do for my family make me sweat it out a bit more-I want those to look perfect. I would love to get my hands on Coach's secret paint mixes. [emoji23]
