Any suggestions on what I should do for my Sheridan Savannah, please? She has some dark smooth rubbed areas on the top, and a small dark patch on the front. I'm hoping Leather Therapy will darken and cover the lighter areas and a few scratches on the smooth leather. Sorry, don't know why the image is sideways.

Thanks! I would use caution with the baking soda paste on bright colors, though it worked well on purple, pink and browns. Good luck again.

So here is the suede satchel I would like to clean up. Seller said it had been dry cleaned and it does seem clean but there are lots of dark marks. Do you think the soda paste will work OK. I love this bag and can't wait for winter to use her so I don't want to ruin her.

Last day of holidays and I finished my watermelon tote. She doesn't look hugely different but is a little darker I think and she doesn't feel so dry. Still not sure what colour she should be. The suede interior is orange. Here's the link to the before pic.

And here she is now

I think she's beautiful...well done!

The Holiday Patchwork bag I used the baking soda paste on (while in the bath) had similar colors that brightened up satisfactorily. I would tell you to be cautious, though, and not scrub too hard. I also used a steel bristled brush when it was dry to fluff up the nap...worked well. I haven't taken "after" pics...will do today and post for you.

Thanks Joodlz. Can't wait to use her.

I'd really appreciate that, thanks.

If it's wet you can reshape it easier, but I also think if it 's wet it will soak in conditioner more evenly. I do this anyway because I live in a dry environment, but I put Lexol on while it's still damp to prevent cracking. I would be very careful, though. Also the color of the vachetta may darken some.
Thank you, AggieK! The leather parts actually look kind of faded to me, so if the color gets a little darker, not much, it is ok. So you use Lexol on vachetta leather and put it on while the leather is wet (wet or damp?), right? Is it the only conditioner you'd recommend for over dried vachetta?

Good evening everyone! One of the Veterinarians I work with gave me a vintage coach be she doesn't use. It's an Abby from '97 (C7C-9017). It's adorable, but needs some perking up. Having never rehabed a bag before, I don't know where to start. Thank you in advance

It is adorable! The rehab should be pretty easy. I don't see any stains, just worn edges. I would soak it in some soapy water, then rinse well and pat dry. Roll a small towel and place inside to define the shape you want the bag to be when it dries. Lay it out on a towel to dry. When it is mostly dry, you can start conditioning. I recommend using Leather CPR. I would do two or three coats over a few days. Then I would do a few coats of Blackrock Leather 'n' Rich. This will help hide the worn edges. You can also mix a small amount of matching acrylic paint in with your conditioner for a more permanent fix to the edges.

Thank you!! I'm 'little kid' excited!! Can I go to work and get a coach bag every day!? Lol!! Any particular soap I should use? Should I use a sponge to wash? The acrylic paint is mixed with the CPR or the blackrocks?

Here 2 befores and afters of my Holiday Patchwork...hope you can see the difference. The shots of the bottoms really show improvement!

Thanks so much Joodlz. There is a big difference and it looks great! I don't think I have the courage to totally dunk the satchel though so I'll just work on a small patch at a time. I just won a matching wristlet that is likely to need some work too. I'll let you know how I go.
